frustrated with people...

i am tired of all the posts about how shitty mods are..or people complaining cause they got an infraction..or having to explain why we, or i, do something..or someone complaining about a mods request..or questioning of the rules....

you guys are on the other end of this site..you dont see the threads that are deleted, the comments, the complaints, etc..when we say there is no use of the n word, there is a reason..when we say both of you get an infraction, even if provoked, cause both of you stooped to the others level, it is for a reason..if we nuke an alcohol thread, there is a reason...

you guys dont see the childish emails and posts about you let such and such say whatever and you wont let me....reasons like this are why things go straight across the board now.....if you dont give both people infractions, you get accused of having favourites..if you dont stop everyone from using the n word, you are a racist..if you delete one post for someone, they want 48572430579 deleted and if you dont, you are not a good mod..you let someone post about a particular person, someone else gets mad noone posts on them and they complain...

there are numerous posts with little sidehanded comments about mods and their actions in here, and it really has to stop...you forget, without mods, you wouldnt even have a site cause administrators cant do it all, it is impossible...you forget that you only know what you see here, and not what really happens, so you think you know best..some of us spend 4, 6, 8 hours a day on here, of our own time, unpaid, to make this site better for everyone..stop pissing on us every chance you get, everytime something happens you dont like...we just dont deserve it...

Well this post goes to the appreciation of all the MODs here.

In the past, I'm guilty of bickering, and comments about mods intentions. In the end, they stuck to their guns and created a vision of a chill, positive, and fun message board. In this day and age of the internet, it's hard to think of somewhere where most members treat each other with diginity and respect. We should all be thankful for their hard work to make sure they stay the course of this vision. We can't get everything we want, but in the big scheme of things, their decisions made this a better place.

Let's show appreciation by not complaining, going with the flow and cut their workloads a bit. :)

I'v been here only a little while but I have seen similar sites w/o mods and no one gets a chance to speak for all teh ranting, complaining, doing what they want, and making 500 threads about the same thing. You don't like what happened to you learn from it and go on trust me as long as you are vertical and have a pulse it won't be the last time. What makes you a responsible person is how you react to conflict (ask Ghandi, Lincoln, or a hollocoust survivor) responsible people become responsible users, without those we will never change a law or a mind.

no LIP, it wasnt because of your "one post", but good you can think so highly of yourself....this had nothing to do with "expressing your opinion", it has to do with things more along the lines of, what you dont know about, you shouldnt speak about......i thought that MAYBE explaining why some things are done, some people would "get it" better, maybe see that things arent as black and white as they seem..but that doesnt seem to be working.....

and as for your "infraction"....it happens all the time..sometimes it has to be fair cause even though you are provoked, you still got down to their level..if you dont like it, i am sorry, but the rules are the rules....i always thought you were pretty cool and never once thought of you as a petty person..that said, i sure would have thought you would have gotten over this by now...

But i have got over it. I mentioned it in one post. Your the one who included it in this thread. I'm not petty. As you know, i say what i like when i like and sod the consequences, i've had plenty of warnings and infractions, and when i get a ban or an infraction i normally agree, personally, i would have not given an infraction, just a warning.

But it's not like i give a damn is it? So there, it's over. Gone.

If i come across as i think alot of myself, it's not intentional, however, like i say to everything, it doesnt bother me, so why should it bother others? It shouldnt. If they dont like it, theres an ignore feature. I encourage them to use it.

O.K........so when do the warnings stop? I banned you for personal attacks BEFORE the infraction system. Thats when EVERYONE got a clean slate. Since then you've racked up one warning plus 3 infractions for the same thing. I've sent ya e-mails asking to cool it down...just let us know and WE WILL take care of the abuser ourselves but you always elect to jump on their shit and then it's a matter of this:

I dont know what happens with other arguement, but i have never, not once, carried it on into another forum.

And i dont concider the word "twat" anywhere near a personal attack. Yet what that moron said the other day most definatly was. A warning would have surviced. But like i said, i couldnt give a shit less if i tried. End of.

Sometimes it's going to come down to a mod's personal opinion on the best way to keep the peace, but trust me when I say this, none of the mods here are for anything other than a peaceful forum. :hippy:

Threads/posts get deleted, and sometimes members receive infractions... based on the mods choice. Again, it's not to pick favorites, it's who the mod think deserved it based on rules violated, and strictly that. No one has a personal vendetta against anyone, lol, okay? :o
