Holy fuckin shit.
I don't believe my eyes.
How tall should the plants be before I turn the lighting cycle to 12/12? And at what height should they be when it's harvest time? I've heard that if you leave them in total darkness, the last 2 weeks, the plant goes into a defensive stage. That it will totally crystal up, almost to the point as it looks like it was really powered with sugar. It's supposed to make it more amazing than it already is. Have you heard of this? How long should I keep them on the 12/12 cycle? I think I should keep them on 6 weeks on 12/12 then total dark for the last 2 weeks. They've been sprouted for about 3 weeks and already are 7" tall. Have some pretty big spread of leaves already!! They look amazing for 3 weeks! What ever I'm doing so far is right!!! Can't wait to harvest... Please give me some advice on this and help a fella smoker out. The more the better. Can't get too much info!!!

They finished at about 1m tall including the pot. The earliest i have heard of widdow being flowered is after 2 weeks veg and the plant should stay short, however this might stress the plant. If i were you id flower them normally for 8 weeks, if there are still some unfinished it might be worth trying this technique with 1 plant to see the results after 9-10 weeks. Only try it with 1 of your plants dont put them all in darkness after 6 weeks it could ruin them. This is where i read of this technique also.. good luk.

nice buds skid, I hope i can grow something equally amazing sometime soon!
Looks a lot like my WW but more green and less white!..
Badass grow = spectacular photos. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the advice skid! I will definitely use it! Another thing i am trying, i'm trying just to see if it works, cause it makes sense. I know that a fish tank has tons of nutrients in it. I have a 30 gallon tank, so I have been using the water from the tank to water my plants about every 3 days. I also put a fan in with them about every third day. And I have to say they look good and strong!! I'm gonna try and post pics with this, i hope it works. Well, it worked. The pics of the plants by them self are the same plant. Then I took a pic of all 4 under the lights. If you click the pics, then click them again it zooms them. Remember they are only 3 weeks old! I think the water from my fish tank has something to do with it as well as my lights. I'll keep you updated on my progress.
wow.... DANK
Damn that is going to be quiet enjoyable to smoke
Your plants do look healthy, good work. It would be a good idea to repot them into larger pots before you flower them, it will help alot:thumbsup:Quote:

:D Thanks omega, can't wait to par take... Skid... I already have them in 12" pots. But if you think I should go bigger, then I will. I do believe the fish tank water is working!! I'm gonna start flowering Mar 1. And do the 10 week cycle with 8 12/12 weeks and 2 total darkness weeks. With going the full 8 weeks on 12/12, it shouldn't hurt anything if I do the last 2 in the dark. I'm also not going to water the last week either. I've heard it helps dry. Thanks for the positive feedback guys, i feel like i'm on my way!!!
looks tastey!
i want it
my mates gettin some tonight
Here are updated pics of my plants. They are 5 weeks old. At 3 weeks they were 7". At 5 weeks they are between 12" and 15". They have been on 12/12 flowering cycle for 1 week and 3 days. I should be seeing the sex of them within the next week or so. The fish tank water i'm using to water them is definitely working wonders in my opinion! They look great and smell amazing already!!!! **** Skid, they looking anything like yours did???**** I've pruned alot of shade leaves off of them, they are really starting to explode outwards now!!!
I missed a pic I wanted to add, so here it is...Quote:

They look good, and healthy, but dont take the leaves off they need them like solar panels. Wait until they die off naturally in flower phaze and they will fall off on their own. If they are blocking light to a bud site during flower just move the leaf to the side or tuck it in somewhere, dont chop it off.
I would now transplant them into 3gallon pots and let them settle in there for a week, then flower them under sodium. Or bigger pots if your going for large plants.
Start a growlog in the growing section of the forums, many growers with good advice there.
nice man...beautiful
Here are some updated pics of my white widow plants. They are barely 9 weeks old. And look amazing!!! I have been using the water from my fish tank to water them, and I have to say it's made a big difference!!!!! I do have some bad news tho... 2 of the 4 have turned to male. So I just recently separated them. I hope I waited long enough so that another doesn't turn, but I'm pretty sure they are sexed... Does anyone know of them changing after they've started flowering? I hope you can see the yellowish outline on the leaves... They are so PRETTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My plants are actually barely 8 weeks old, meaning 3 days from 8 weeks, sorry for the typo... Maybe I don't need any more... LOL:jointsmile: :rasta: :stoned: :smokin: :pimp: :rastasmoke: :hippy:
