Eminem I listen to a lot, along with snoop, B.I.G, tupac and outkast. All of these musicians are amazing.... they took what they were and turned it into fucking Platinum that is an amazing feat.
Glad to hear another person is blown away by Eminem and his lyrics.
yea.... his shit kinda puts u in a coma when ur baked like u just cant move cuz ur tryin to take in all the shit hes sayin
im down with eminem, hes fuckin sweet, one of my all time fave cds is his slim shady lp. but mostof his albums are classic, but im not feelin the re up or curtain call cds
IMO he’s the most talented lyricist I’ve ever heard
hahahaha brilliantt
His first two CDs were titz
LMAO. Eminem has some pretty decent freestyles. I liked his first 2 mainstream releases but after that he got pretty bad minus certain exceptions. On a scale of 1-10. I give his emceeing abilities a 7.3. There are plenty of emcees better than him. He use to rap about things that appealed to me though.Quote:

i liked the re up very much (only the eminem d12 50cent shit not that kashish bobby dick shit) it shows em still got it..
em is one of thebest rappers ever..
I used to like him, and still like a lot of his older stuff when he was intelligent. Now, he's just another fake "gangster" fool bollocking on about his "rep". I enjoy the more positive hip hop like De La Soul and Jurassic 5. Still, some sickedy sick beats from old Eminem.
Eminem fans are fruits, and there Nazis.
Inifinite had the best lyrics of any album, hands down. After his Slim Shady days he started to fall...he was no longer unique and turned into a whiney rapper.
IMO, he has absolutely no lyrical skills right now...I mean seriously, half the people on this forum could beast him in a free style. His first album, Infinite, was amazing and had the best lyrics.
"Cuz you could be quick, jump the candle stick, burn your back and fuck Jill on a hill, but you still aint jack."
"You wonna see fights I got a match for ya' // you couldnt flip shit playing in toilets with a spatchella"
"You could date a stick of dynamite and wouldnt go out with a bang, I shout with a slang simple as ABC's, skip over the D's and rock the microphone with E's (ease)"
"You couldnt make the fans throw up their hands if they swallowed there fingers, but you could bring yours"
As soon as Eminem started rapping about his family i stopped liking it. Rap is about guns, drugs and killing people.
I blame that 8 mile shit.
Eminem is alright.
He cries and whines too much about his life and family
What the fuck does he got to bitch about?
He is a god damn millionaire.
I bet you he can't fight for shit.
He Used To Be Okay
But Now Hes Just A Straight Up whiny Little Bitch
eminem sucks
lyrics are okay, sometimes
i don't blow my load on him
wow dude.. money doesnt buy happiness.. em still has problems like proof dying, he had a shitty childhood and all that.. just cuz he has money doesnt make everything perfect.. but eminem is a great rapper.. the re-up wasnt really his cd i think, i think he was just tryin to get the new people on his label some exposure, just introducing them..Quote:

rock bottom, role model, the i dont give a fuck songs, when im gone, when the music stops, square dance are just a few of my favs by him. i will admit that after the eminem show, i just stopped liking his radio hits.
That skinny slim shady kat has got some talant, man. I love his work, but never listen to it when high.
Good stuff, tho!
Eminem is a good rapper, IMO. He's definitely not the best, but he's still a good lyricist nonetheless. I think I have to agree though that his older albums and material was much better than his new stuff.
He has definitely crossed from being just good...to being great...I don't even think that's debatable. He affected an entire genre of music in a positive way...simply put...then you can break it down in whatever way you want...but he at least did that.
once again you take the words right out of my mouthQuote:

So yeah, his voice is even worse. Reminds me of Steve Urkel when he's just hitting puberty.
Talent? Hardley. Rap isn't talent, hip-hop is talent. Hip-hop deals with lyrcis that mean something. Eminem and fellow rappers are just talking shit about a bunch of crap when comes the time, they would never have the balls to do. Rap is all talk, More like, emo-rap. :p
He flows really well, its just too bad that he's got nothing worthwhile to talk about. What an absolute waste of talent.
I'm totally feeling the poster who said De La and J5 earlier. Good music is where it's at.
i'm not a fan of rap by any stretch of the imagination, i wear flannel, chew copenhagen, drink budweiser, listen to blue grass, country and rock and roll.
but eminem is talented no doubt about it.
Beg your pardon.. Biggie and Tupac rapped and their "meaningful" songs outweigh any "guns and bitches" rap they did. And I am not sure if anyone here unnderstands how inspirational of the whole music scene these two were.
De La Soul is indeed the shit. Good Call
Hey, that's something I've never thought about before. I'm sure he would be a wicked lyricist if he wrote about things that had a little more meaning.Quote:

Take a hip-hopper like KRS-One, now that is some lyrical skills, and the guy is still being propped after 20 years of making it on the scene. Now he will be remebered as an influence and change in the hip-hop world. Hi-hop is something that stays, rappers come and go. One by one, they all sound the same.
Anyways, I'm done mocking Eminem.
dude is that your music? cause honestly that sounds so fuckin good i got goose bumps.im a fan of music but usually not a fan of this type of music but i havnt turned it off since i clicked on it. oh wat was this thread about? ohhh right Eminem, yeah hes goodQuote:

"Til I Collapse".....DL this song and read along. He produced the song as well...he's really not a bad producer either...so what's up with the 'no talent' thing...I've just never actually heard anyone say that...he's one of the most respected artists in a predominantly African American field. He will ALWAYS be remembered for what he did...how could he not...you can't even compare any other artist to him...unique is an understatement.
[Intro]
Sometimes you just feel tired, feel weak
And when you feel weak, you feel like you wanna just give up
But you gotta search within you, try to find that inner strength
and just pull that shit out of you
And get that motivation to not give up, and not be a quitter
No matter how bad you wanna just fall flat on your face, and collapse
[Eminem]
Till I collapse I'm spillin these raps long as you feel 'em
Till the day that I drop you'll never say that I'm not killin 'em
Cause when I am not, then I'ma stop pinnin 'em
and I am not hip-hop and I'm just not Eminem
Subliminal thoughts, when I'ma stop sendin 'em
Women are caught in webs, spin 'em and hoch venom
Adrenalin shots of penicillin could not get the illin to stop
Amoxacillin's just not real enough
The criminal cop killin hip-hop villain
A minimal swap to cop millions of 'Pac listeners
You're comin with me, feel it or not you're gonna fear it
like I showed ya the spirit of God lives in us
You hear it a lot, lyrics to shock
Is it a miracle or am I just product of pop fizzin up?
Fo' shizzle my wizzle, this is the plot, listen up
You bizzles forgot, Slizzel does not give a fuck
[Chorus 2X: Nate Dogg]
Till the roof comes off, till the lights go out
Till my legs give out, can't shut my mouth
Till the smoke clears out - am I high? Perhaps
I'ma rip this shit, till my bones collapse
[Eminem]
Music is like magic, there's a certain feelin you get
when you real and you spit an' people are feelin your shit
This is your moment, and every single minute you spend
tryin to hold on to it cause you may never get it again
So while you're in it, try to get as much shit as you can
And when your run is over just admit when it's at its end
Cause I'm at the end of my wits with half the shit gets in
I got a list here's the order of my list that it's in
It goes Reggie, Jay-Z, Tupac and Biggie
Andre from OutKast, Jada, Kurupt, Nas and then me
But in this industry I'm the cause of a LOT of envy
So when I'm not put on this list, the shit does NOT offend me
That's why you see me walkin around like nothin's botherin me
Even though half you people got a fuckin problem with me
You hate it but you know respect you got to give me
The press's wet dream like Bobby and Whitney, Nate hit me
[Chorus]
[Eminem]
Soon as the verse starts, I eat at an MC's heart
What is he thinkin? How not to go against me, smart!
And it's absurd, how people hang on ev-ery word
I'll probably NEVER get the props I feel I ever deserve
But I'll never be served, my spot is forever reserved
If I ever leave Earth, that would be the death of me first
Cause in my heart of hearts I know nothin could ever be worse
That's why I'm clever when I put together ev-ery verse
My thoughts, are sporadic, I act, like I'm a addict
I rap, like I'm addicted to smack like I'm Kim Mathers
But I don't wanna go forth and back in constant battles
The fact is I would rather sit back and bomb some rappers
So this is like a full blown attack I'm launchin at 'em
The track is on some battlin raps who want some static?
Cause I don't really think that the fact that I'm Slim matters
A plaque and platinum status is WACK if I'm not the baddest, so
[Chorus]
[Eminem] Until the roof
[N.Dogg] Until the roof
[Eminem] The roof comes off
[N.Dogg] The roof comes off
[Eminem] Until my legs
[N.Dogg] Until my legs
[Em + N] Give out from under me
[Eminem] I will not fall, I will stand tall
[Eminem] Feels like no one can beat me
got that song. great song. love it.
That shul is what I call music! Fucking "Ace" shit man! Nice find, I'll be purchasing a copy of his album soon, and if it's on Amazon, I'll order it tonight. Just the right balance of rock and blues w/ a southern undertone.. ..mellow, and strong. Great stuff!Quote:

Fucking amazing lyrics, I listen to him with my brother since like age 4 and
he makes me think of my brother in a way cuz its kinda his idol lol
Whoever says Eminem never had talent obviously hasnt heard the Infinite album.
I listen to underground rap more then anybody I know and I never came across superb lyrics like in Infinite. There is only one line in one song thats is on the same level....from Diabolic/Immortal Technique. The 2nd part of Dance with the Devil..Diabolic
"Go ahead and grip glocks, Ill snap your trigger finger in six spots, youll have to lip-lock with hypertonic needles to lick shots."
I have to admit, Em's lyrics arent as deep as some other rappers like Immortal, but he had the illest rhymes and punchlines ever.
you're not too much younger then my grandma and whenever i get my grandma to say 'hip' words my wife always cracked up.... i even got her to say 'whazzup nigga' once.... lol.... i don't remember if my wife was here then or not... but i know i fell to the floor laughing. i bet if my wife heard you say the stuff you do she'd crack up laughing as well.... lol...Quote:

Is Skink a 60 yr old man, or did I miss something here? :pQuote:

We'll have to start calling him Grey Bush, like from Grandma's Boy. :pQuote:
