condom - to use or not to use?

Ok this is for all the youngsters on this site. We have all been told the dangers of sex and how a condom will help reduce preganancy risk and Std's to a certain extent. I assume or at least hope that you are using them if you are sleeping around or just in highschool.

Anyway, I have been with my girlfriend for 1 year 4 months hand stopped using condoms about 3 months into our relationship because she got on the pill. Anyone who has had unprotected sex knows how much better it feels. We were both really sick this past week and didn't bother to go pick up the pills on time and her prescribtion ran out so now she has to go back to the gyno in order to get something new. So I go pick up a pack of condoms, pop one on and begin to go at it and realize I CAN'T FEEL SHIT. She also said it felt really weird and not nearly as good. I ended up having to finish with my hand due to a lack of sensation.

Moral of the story is this. Before you think about having unprotected sex think about STD's and a little pot smoker you may produce, but also think about how much it is going to suck when you have to wrap your shit up agian.

:confused: I was one the PILL for five years when I fell pregnant with my son who is now nearly 14. Nothing is 100% proof but the moral to the story is that you need to stay safe so..... COVER THE LUMP BEFORE YOU HUMP. :thumbsup:

Yes, it does feel better without a condom, but it is not nearly that safe to do. I have done it a few time despite how horny i was and nothing has happened. All the times after it now i have used condoms cause i want to be protected. Be protected, and be safe!

Yeah condoms certainly suck. I dont like em. I know of guys and girls who never had sex w/o one... On one hand that is good they are being responsible but on the other they have no idea what they are missing.

Get her on the pill and use a condom. Why? Because pills can decide to just not work and condoms can always break and from a chick's point of view and from experience, just THINKING you could POSSIBLY be pregnant is nerve wrecking.

Nah, we both agree, one or the other. I'm convinced two forms aren't that much better. My brother got his wife pregnant on both along with a few other people I know.

If she is on some form of BC I'm not wearing anything, it totally ruins sex. Now it will suck royally if we ever break up because I won't be able to cum with a condom on. At least thats how it looks.

As for scares, they come with having sex. I don't care how many forms of BC you use, there are always a few months out the year both people are just sitting there, is it about to start? How late is it?

Just got to be careful (RE: diseases). While it isnt full proof, I usually like to have the girl and myself 'tested' before unprotected sex. Granted some nasty shit can take several months to show up (and sometimes it wont show up at all), it is better then nothing. I never had an STD and I'm 28 (except for mono once as a teenager) **knocks on wood**


In response to BCP failing, BCP is 99% effective when used CORRECTLY. Correctly mean using the BCP exactly as prescribed AND be extra careful that ANY OTC or prescription med you take doesnt counteract the pill (or whatever else one is using). When BCP fails it is almost always human error.

the last time i ran out of condoms, i quite using them for a long time, and then did a few even stupider things like ive blown my load in her, but i feal the same way about going back to using condoms and not being able to feal anything, my ex made me start wearing them agin towards the end of our relation ship cause she got tired of having to clean up a huge load of cum off of her tits, belly, and/or ass

I posted this a while back, first time this topic came up, but it seems prudent to post it again

Back when I was in college I met this chick at a dorm party. I was normally careful but we had been drinking a bit, I didn't have a condom, she said she was on the pill, and that pussy just looked too good to pass up. Well, one morning about a week later I took a piss and was like "yeeoow, what the fuck..? That hurts". Later that day I noticed this funky yellow/green pus started leaking out of my dick. You know that long q-tip thing they stick down your throat to get a culture? Well, the doc pulls one of these things out and puts some lube on it. I'm thinking "what the fuck??" when he grabs my dick and puts the q-tip thing way fucking up inside. Jesus Christ! Pissing flaming napalm was a hell of a lot better.

Turns out I had chlamydia, a STD. Fortunately I got some antibiotics and got it cleared up. These days, if all you get is chlamydia you can consider yourself lucky. If you get aids the doctor doesn't prescribe an antibiotic to get rid of the disease. He will only prescribe lots of different medications to, hopefully, prolong your life a bit longer. I'm married now, wife's on the pill, and I don't need condoms anymore. I'm just happy I didn't catch something that would cause me to have to keep wearing them.

Question: Would you risk having unprotected sex with a prostitute(m or f)? Then y would you risk it with a person who, based on their interaction or involvement w/you, is obviously just as promiscuos even if on a lower scale?

Your logic contradicts itself. If she's willing to have unprotected sex with you, she's probably had it with someone else. When you consider that, depending on the particular STD and especially in women, many cases won't have symptoms, your "60 min conversational background check" doesn't mean very much.

I think we can all agree on two things:

1. One should always protect oneself when fucking some random skank hoe from a bar, club, party, ect.

2. Sex with a condom feels nothing like sex without a condom (not nearly as good for the guy OR girl).


The trick is, at what point does one have sex w/o a condom??? To each their own. Personally, while it certainly isnt fool proof by any stretch of the imagination, I will have unprotected sex with a girl I consider a gf (IE I'm very selective about girls I consider a gf) whereas I wont have sex with just some random girl w/o a condom (with one exception in my life).

If it makes the 'gf' feel better I'm always open to getting tested and using condom until that point. I'm not ok with having a long-term relationship with a girl where we always have to worry about having a condom to have sex and where the sex is constantly sub-par to what it could be. That is just me :)

So far I only had one girl who was potentially a gf not feel comfortable with my thinking. I in no way pressured her to change her mind but rather respected her decision. We however never ended up talking again.

For all you ladies out there on the pill- I can't recommend enough switching to the 'ring' instead. It's awesome, you don't need to remember to take a pill every day/night, and you totally forget it's there. It's more effective than the pill as well, because the accuracy can't be reduced by forgetting to take a pill at the same time all the time, etc. It also costs about the same. It's called NuvaRing, for the record.

Yeah and the best part of the NuvaRing is if you leave it in the entire month it stops your period!

The only other thing I know of that stops a chick's period is depo but most girls I've been with had their sex drive killed by 'the shot' (defeats the entire purpose of fucking BC). There is nothing more annoying then not being able to have sex cause the girl is on her rag.

Just to note; It stops your period but u still have to insert another ring after the original 3 weeks are up, cause they are only designed to stop ur period for 3 weeks at a time. I didnt want anyone getting preggers thinking the rings worked for an infinite amount of time. lol.
