give it more room to grow(bigger pot)
^ What he said - about time for a larger pot...hard to see details, but the color looks good. No burned edges. Nice fat indica dominant leaves.. How tall is it and what kind of light is it under?
here are some pics from today couple of the bottom leafs are turing brown. as for the light its natural sunlight plant is about 8inch. about the pot i have a bigger one but im afraid i might killl it when i transplant its happened before.
what kind of soil you using? nutes?
your plant looks like its be ing overwaterd
imho i would flush the hell out of it then do not water the plant untile you can stick your finger in the dirt and actually feel it dry, or wait till the pot feels really light
looks a little stretched ... is that bagseed cus it looks like the strain i have.... omg man!! your pic is awesome!!! hahahaha the hamburgers eating the little kiddy!! lmao that topped my day off man!!! STONED!!!!:stoned: :stoned: :stoned:
I flushed it the other day and its looking better here are some pics.
Hey Kerplunk,
That plant needs more light...
Becareful you do not over water your plant.. water it thoroughly and then let the soil dry out.. you shuld water every 3-10 days depending on plant size and temperatures..
can you get a CFL from walmart or Homedepot and put it on your plant.. about 1 inch away?
I am guessing that yo are using window light? Suplemental lighting will make a world of difference.. You can get one of these cfl (150 watt/ 42 watt actual consumption) lights for 10 dollars.

: )
overwatered, take it easy on the nutes, and more light.
here are some more pics..
can anyone tell me what those leafs growing on the stem are?
just more branch leaf growth... you will have a brach growing there eventually..
plant looks droopy maybe a water issue with a too much nutes issue...
new pic cant really see anything leafs are losing color and tips are brown.
How can you tell it needs more light?

Yes, you need more light. Are you growng that by a window? If so, take it outside or get it under some proper lighting. Plants do not grow well by the window and it is stretching because it wants more light. The stretching cannot be ignored or avoided if it isn't corrected.
Are you feeding it yet? If so, what, and how much? Then we can help with the browning tips, but that is a classic sign of too much nutes.
If you haven't fed it anything yet, now is time, or the leaves will brown up and die.
It's hard for me to tell if it's overfeeding or underfeeding. Give us more info on your feeding habits with this plant and we can help you out a little better.
Your plant looks very healthy, but needs more light. :)
yeah we are growing it by the window its geting way to big for that though, we are gonna transplant it soon so it dont get rootbound. We are feeding it miracle grow, we have feed it like 4 times, every other week we have a light we put it under during the night for a couple hours then during the day its in the window but we are starting to put it outside but we live in AZ and its like 85-100 outside sometimes. we know its a female it has pistils/ white hairs coming out of it. here are some more pics...
which pot should i transplant it too? also if anyone has any tips on how to get out the plant as to not damage it that would be cool.
3 gallon pots are primo.
Wait for it to get pretty dry and tap on the pot. You want it to all come out in one piece. If the dirt looks like it's going to seperate, don't do it and wait for it to get dryer. If you can, you could also just the bottom out of the smaller pot and make a hole about the size of the pot in the bigger, and there you go. The roots will find their way.
Window light isn't the right amount of light it needs. Buy some cfl's, you got some stretching. Put in the cfl's and you should be alright.
Window light will (most likely) not be adequate.. make sure you supplement it with CFLs..
cheers

DAMN GRAPH... I just read you post... you BEAT ME.. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!

BWAHAHAHAH. Oh, and I'll have something for you in a few days, knowm. No offense, I put you on back order while I had to deal with some crybabies.
And no one's smarter than the knowm...
stay away from clay pots, they absorb much of the water. Also I'm pretty positive that that plant will be male because of all the stress you've done to it. Sorry but thats how it works.
Actually those pics are looking good. I can't see any sign of overfeeding, or not enough to be alarmed out.Quote:

Just get that plant outside in the sun for a few hours each day, and every week, increase the sun exposure of the plant every 2 hrs, so it doesn't get burnt up from the hot AZ sun. Start with a few hours each day, and slowly increase.
Feed once a week or every two weeks. Don't over do it now. The plants health in the vegg. stage reflects the outcome of the flowering stage. Keep her healthy, and good things will come.
Good luck.
:o
im seeing more yellowing and more brown spots on leafs, thinking now that its in a bigger pot that will slow down and or stop
Is that a 3 gallon container?
If it is, you are fine with container size.
Are you PHing your water between 6-7 ?
iloveyou
yeah its about 3 gallons or more need a bit more soil.
im using bottled water "aquafina" to water it.
The size of pot is fine.
I think you have a slight case of a Nitrogen deficiancy. Leaves are dying from the bottom up and brown spots it looks like.
I read that you have only fed it 4 times. I suggest feeding it again within the nest few days before all the leaves die. Just don't feed over the recommended amount as that will create a whole new set of problems.
The plant right now needs something high in Nitrogen (N-P-K). I use 5-1-1 Fish Emulsion (organic), but there are plenty of other choices out there. Just pick one that has a high N number compared to the rest. If your MG has that, then feed again.
Good luck.
MG i have is 15-30-15
:o :o :o
more pics yooooo
bottom leafs are dying off it seems + brown spots
ooh and theres red hairs starting to come up
i have some new food its 12 - 5 - 8
Mr. PLUNK.. hello dear sir..
careful with the nutrients.. Brown tips usually mean over feeding.. nutrient burn.. yikes..
thanks for the pictures

yea nice looking plant but i think your over doing the nutes
I do not think you need to repot at this time. Wait until the roots start to cover the walls of the pot you are using. To many of my friends seem to want to upgrade the container size before the roots have used up 50% of the soil. It's just to damn easy to over-water when you have a big pot.

which light would be better? the one on the right is a halogen 60 watt. the one on the left is a CFL 60 watt also.
my plant is now under cfl and alot growth is happening and starting to get hairs which started out white but are now a redish color
but the bottom leaves are slowly losing color and dying off im guessing to much nutes and as i was outside the light fell and burned the right side of the top three tiers
and sadly thats not all, the new growth from tie IIth tier and up are rapidly changing yellow
should i put my plant in 12/12? its been a couple of months
pics
yes 12/12..
add more CFLs along the side of your plant..
The plant is having a nutrient deficiancy... are you PH ing your water?
NO HALOGENS
cheers
wait more nutes?
i thought i had given it too many nutes
brown spots=nute burn right? brown tips
the brown hairs?
and all the new growth has only three leaves
would 15-30-15 be good
and thank you :)
ill take pics after first week of 12/12
no i am not phing my water i am feeding her aquafina
Right now have a cfl one inch from top and halogen on the side and alot of new hairs good bad?
