well, as much enjoyment as I have had here in the past, I am also leaving cannabis.com ... I guess I'm just old and grouchy, but I can't stand the fucking kids in here ... these young losers have no ambition to READ the posts, just keep asking the same old questions, over and over again ... too lazy to do a 'search', too stupid to compose a thread with anything that resembles English ... I realize everyone may not be too intelligent, but I am thoroughly disgusted with the 'ghetto-street-thug" form of writing, that even some 'adults' think is 'cool' ... you dumbass kids better wise up, and get an education, get a job, and worry about getting high on payday ... friendly goodbyes to Zandor, del, Jdog, too many others to mention, ....but fuck the rest of you morons, you know who you are: the punks still living at home with Mommie, trying to do a stealth grow in the closet with a flashlight bulb .... and THAT is the future of America ?? ... scary ... :mad:

Well that's just shitty man it sucks because OG is gone and now it seems like people are leaving here too. It sucks when people with a wealth of knowledge leave but hey if you can't take it here anymore it's all good. Have a good one even though we never talked it sucks to see you leave cause maybe you coulda helped me out with my grows. In my opinion the mods need to go around and start droppin the ban-hammer on all these little fucks going around cocking off otherwise this site may lose more of it's great members.

Sorry to hear that man, but i feel the same man, too many kids asking the same Q and i cant ignore posts, so i just get myself all sressed out.

i know exactly where you are coming from... its like the same questions over and over again... where you get burnt out by saying "go read the FAQ's"

then someone will get mad and say "100 views but no help" when the answer is actually right in front of their face if they looked. I view the boards more than i post due to the frustration of the laziness of other users, i did start my grow log that i am probably not going to finish here (the log that is not the grow) unless i get too excited and need to tell someone (since nobody knows about it except for c.com)

well, you could always stop back in once in a while and help us lobby the owners for a more...umm, mellow and useful site (for lack of better vocabulary)? and we are doing just that...we need to show them by investing in those that have money and actually purchase items advertised here they will have a more financially viable product with canncom. keeping anyone who only uses/takes and doesn't add to a place many call 'home' is a waste, IF commercialism is a priority. i mean how many 15 years olds buy anything advertised here or anywhere? i don't mean to come off as an old fogie with no tolerence of our yute's but come on, what can they buy?

Planet Ganja is nice.So is The ICMForum.Also Homegrown420 has a good more advanced older crowd. Noone stupid can go there. lol

And there are not as many kids at the other forims I listed. C.com is geting flooded with kids since the outdoor growing season started.
I don't mind helping youngsters. But only if they are respectful.

after scouting several other cannabis sites, I see they are all over-run by newbies that Won't Read ... Won't Search, Won't attempt the use of the English language ... it's like visiting huge online ghettos ... some have hundreds of threads to their credit, and couldn't grow a frigging dandelion, if their lives depended on it ... they simply repeat every post they ever read, whether it is correct, or not ... they won't take good advice ... tell these clowns they need a minimum of 20 watts per square foot, and you will get a reply such as: "will a 15-watt aquarium light work OK, and grow several ounces per plant ?". ...it's frustrating, I get disgusted ... :mad:
I have decided to keep visiting this website, as it USED to be entertaining, and educational ... I will NOT respond to frequent questions that have already appeared in the Forums, and will probably spend my time directing them to SEARCH ... if I become an asshole, it is because my patience is at an end, and I apologize to a FEW members ... please keep in mind, I respect, and enjoy conversation with SOME of the folks in here, primarily those who act as if the first couple years of grade-school weren't entirely wasted ...
I also request that the owner and moderators of this site automatically permanently BAN all minors, as they obviously have no business growing an illegal plant ... as witnessed by their apparent ignorance, they should be more concerned with an education, and a job, than their plants ... they will find out, TOO LATE, that the pot won't support them (without a jail term hanging over their heads), and they will grow up to join the ranks of jobless, poverty-stricken misfits I see everyday, begging for change ...

Its good to see some coming back..didn't any of you think outside your own little group here in the grow section that even though SOME of us don't post here that we do read the tips and journals?? And before I get flamed for saying that and asked why we don't post..well..we don't want to contribute to the worthless posts..thats why we read..knowledge..imo you could step outside your box more and be a little more welcoming to newcomers but all in all..you guys had a good thing going and let people down.

it was the same way every year at og,as soon as school was let out for summer the kids invade these websights,just something you have to put up with i guess.if i feel that the poster is under 18 or states that he is still living at home then i will not offer advice to that person.got to have respect for the household you live in.

Even if you have never talked to me personally I have read and followed many many of your grows and the information I learn is priceless, as I can vouch for with my current grow. Wow! I didn't realize there were so many issues here. I just ignore all the idiots on the message boards just like I ignore them in "real" life. Either way, I would like to thank all the experienced people who know what they are talking about because it has helped me tremendously.

This is how it is. Where I am, there is only hashish (long story). And now, thanks to the help of this message board and it's experienced users, there may be a chance for something long needed 'round these parts.

I don't want to see any of you go, but if you do go, I hope you'll put a posting in the grow lounge so that hopefully we can meet up again. You are so rich in knowledge and I learn a lot just reading your posts without even asking a lot of questions.

I do think this rash of kids is because school's out. This happens on a lot of boards and things get better once school starts. The thing is to ignore, or point to faqs and searches if you simply must reply. I do worry about the legitimate adult who needs some help though.

Another thing I do is to stay away from groups like the Cannabis lounge, psychotropics, etc., which seem to have a glut of kids.

First of all, please excuse my poor english (second language). I think the main issue is the comunication capability over language limitations, but if its hard for you read bad english, ignore the post.

the image reaper, you must note that kids invasion is seasonal in all the cannabis forums in Internet. I basycally read the threads and post only a little because my language limitation, but because im tired of answer always the same to people who dont search and read before asking, too. But that isnt a reason to leave the forum, only to give up answering questions answered before many times.

I join this forum recently, due to im seeking for new questions about cannabis in the net, and the fact that each forum has its own cannabis growing paradigm make me read and participate in several forums. If you dont like always the same, think on doing the same as me. And take a little forums holidays, i believe you are a little stressed. But if this is your main forum, keep in it, the relationship with the habitual users is very valuable, and it will remain although you post only a little.

BTW, im going to leave this forum, but for different reasons. I think the way this forum works attract kids specially, and the average level is low compared with others. And i notice some commercial leaning and excess mods intervention, combined with a lacking of new ideas. There are valuable members here, as in any forum, but there isnt constructive debate about the differents ways to grow MJ.

I can tell you, there are more new ideas getting kicked around then you might think, but, everyone must choose their own path, have a good one.

and I don't really agree with you Knna...you do english well for a 2nd language, and there are alot of great info on the different methods of growing weed...I just don't think you looked hard enough...this is where I learned back in the day, and I learned it before I even started posting.

I've been going to a few different forums. And I've found that I've passed the level of this forum. So I only come here to help people.
But I won't be answering anyone who I think is a minor.
It's pretty easy to tell ussually.
