Ok its me again had to start over, i have the seeds germing in rapid rooters soaked in superthrive. this grow will be straight soil, no messing around with hydro to soil shit. now i have 2 of my favorate seeds. big bud and white russian, now the ice2000 was growing amazingly and the ai was right behind it. so i picked the best seeds to grow on this go around.
GL this go around mobay. I know u got the skills :P plus I got a soil grow log going now, so its cool ur going soil now. p.s. u using fox farms again? :rasta:

All of those strains are looking delicious. Ice really picks up when you flower her so make some extra room for them;) If you didnt know that already:)

mobay have u tried coconut fibre as ur medium , i use it with clay pebbles but u could use perlite as well, the + points about coco fibre is that its has a neutral ph to start with , plus it is light and airy allowing alot of oxygen to get to the roots . i, as u well know have just set up a new grow set up , and i was going to get myself a hydro system but after reading the pro's and cons and seeing the result i was getting from the coco fibre i opted to ditch the hydro plans and just use the hydro feeds instead and feed them every time i watered . and it seems to be workin a treat .

ps. my mate has grown ice in the past , great high but not the best yeilder. Ice is used in holland to make the hash called iceolater.... very trippy high.:rasta:

ok everyone here is the update one the plants. ice2000 and white russian after 2 days of germing in the rapid rooters are up and doing well under 125w cool flo light now. the other 2 lazy bitches are taking there time, sleepy heads. dont know about the big bud seed had it for along time and didnt store it well when i was done with them. but the ai has broke its shell just waiting to put her under the light.

But now that im back its seems that i am learning a lot more good info and seeing a lot cooler grows. I cannot wait to see these plants in action. I am also happy to see you doing a soil grow.....for i myself LOVE SOIL. The reason for that is this is my first Successful attempt indoors because the usual...u know..get busted by parents thing....but i was always very good at growing outdoors. I would always grow 100% organic outdoors. My current grow has tought me a lot because i am using chemical nutes. But i just wanted to see their effects for once. I justed lokked up the pics of your strains....nice....and yes i agree with Shallow Hal....ice2000 is not a very good yeilder....BUT(keyword here).....the potency, taste, and wonderfulness of this strain makes up for it. Just make sure if you go with chem feeds to flush good because of the laxly branched sativa characteristics. Much Love Bro.......NaStY:stoned:
McNasty ty for your post there, i use fox farm nutes all organic, dont have to worry about flushing with fox farm, use nutes up to day of harvest time. yeah iam starting to get into this soil grow method. as i read alittle more on the fox farm products. ice2000 and white russian will be growing until they are 6 inches in fox farm light warrior, then i will be trans planting them into fox farm potting soil. hydroponics man told me that is the best way. just planting in the soil would be hard at 1st on them, but i didnt have a problem when i did it with the white russian last grow. but iam here to learn as well. so i will try it this way and see how it works. glad to see your posting again. postman whats up bro.

i spoke to the owner of the hydro shop i go to and he said that using all of the fox farm soil and nutes that you dont have to flush , because its all organic. i use all the fox farm items you use bob. i asked him 2 different times about flushing and each time same answer, dont need to flush :thumbsup:
ok iam gonna bring my nebula grow over to this forum here. summer is here and the reason i said that is cause, it was 87 degrees today and even hotter in my attic with the lights out. so i came to 1 conclusion today . put an a/c in the grow box. the ac is set on 72 now, room reading 78.6 with the lights on :dance:
ok if there is anyone else that is having heat problems in the attic or in their grow areas, lowes has portable a/c unit now. 8,000 or 10,000 btu ones, with the exhaust hose that attaches to the window. go get them before they run out :)
man it was hot as hell today, outside temps 91 degrees now. attic temps 116 now, and in my grow box is 75.4 degrees. i should have had this set up a long time ago, and maybe the ice2000 would have been alright.
Dude I use a similar ac. And it makes a huge difference.
Between that and the vented hood. It's perfect. Even when it's over 100 outside. My ac is 8000 btu's.I wish I could have found one with an exhaust like yours.
jdogg i have a window unit in my grow box, with the drain hose going into a 10 gallon container, 124 dollars. but i was says that home depot not lowes has portable a/c units for sale now. before you could only get them online. http://www.homedepot.com/prel80/HDUS...4+4370&pos=n08

trivium yes they still have the units at home depot, the best thing about this unit is that its only 13in x 18in, small enough not to take up alot of space, 5000btu's, energy saver the best 124 dollars i spent this summer :D

killer khan whats up there? man the ice 2000 was a male , so before i threw it in the trash, i had another germing . it only took 2 days to germ. that ice is ready to grow. will take some pics later :thumbsup:
Sounds like a nice grow, i have my plants in the attic and it gets hot up there but i just try and give them planty of water cause the soil is getting dryer faster, so Mobay i have a question for you, are you saying that hydro is still good or are you prefering soil now?

hydro is excellent, but gg23 if your growing in the attic, hauling gallons of water up and down a ladder will be hell. but if you have a set up to get the water up and down that would work out fine. subpump would do , on the christmas grow iam doing hydro, have to put things in order for now, if i should grow outside in the shed or in the attic.

the beast is loose. white russian on the left and ice2000 on the right. the other 2 seeds didnt germ at all , so i replaced them with 2 k2 seeds.

You are using foxfarm for this whole grow correct? Oh and I have a question for ya, what would you prefer hydro or soil, Im thinking about purchasing a hydro system and doing some vast readup upon the whole unique system.
trivium yes iam doing fox farm all the way. i love hydro and prefer it , but hauling 10 gallons of wate and nutes up an attic ladder , can and will have your knees buckling lol. the hydro set up i love is the drip and fogger systems. you will see me in action for the christmas grow off coming soon.

ok the nebula showed her sex a couple of days ago. so i gave her nutes yesterday to get in her system , so i could tie her down. after tieing her down i now have 13 bud sites that are getting light now. she's a short bushy bitch, but the facts say she will have large buds for her height, cant wait.

here are some pics of the new Ice2000 and white russian plants. plants are 1 1/2 inches away from the light. if i move the light further away the ice 2000 will just stretch more. this plant is hungry to grow tall, but i got a trick for it's ass.
What trick would this be??

thanks Bob, if you notice some of the leaves that has yellow spots on them, i because the day i switched from the cool flou lights to reds i was sweating my ass off in there putting the bulbs in, and got on some of the leaves. but i cant wait to see this nebula in action now that the plant has been bent.
Hey Mobay i am in the attic right now cause i started a seed at school over a break and it just so happened to start growing, ha ha and now that it actually lived over the months to get to the flowering stage i had to keep it going so the attic was the next best place for me. So i never knew you could become a silver member ha ha and i never got that answer, you preferng soil over hydro now? I actually like it i mean the only reason i want to start a small hydro grow is because of all the hype i hear about a quicker and larger yield, i know not by much but would be nice to see

ok i made up a little scap book on my soil vs hydro grows. now these pics are 1 week apart for 3 weeks of photos. soil is the 1st 3 and hydro is the second 3.
