Has anyone Been able to convert their parents?

I managed to convert my mom. She use to hate anything to do with ganja. (because its against the law). I explained all the different types and showed her a heap of websites about hemp and the medical values of marijuana.And shes now all interested and shit, Im allowed smoke it now but all i can get here in Ireland is dirty soap-bar.
(No green on the emerald isle lol) So i dont bother, Im just waiting on an order from blastfast, and hope shes gonna have a smoke with me that would be well funny.
Anybody else enlightened their parents?

I got cought, I have a little crop!:) She was VERY sad, but that went over, and now she's cool about it!:D

I won't be sitting down and smoking with her though!:p

My mom's a nurse, so she knows the benefits, she knows I smoke, and i've came home from a night out with my eyes bloodshot, all she says is Nice Eyes and we continue the conversation we were having.

Yeah i got caught a few times smoking soapbar (shite) and she said she was well dissapointed then i showed her the goodness of green and shes okay with it now.
dont think i'll be smokin with her though. That would be funny cuz when she's drunk she's fifty going on twelve so i'd love to see her high :D

My mom's caught me numerous times. She smoked when she was a teen, and doesn't seem to regret it. However, her husband(my stepdad), insists that drugs ruined his entire life. Also, there's many kids living in this house, me, my older sister(17, and against drugs and alchohol), my younger sister(10), and little brother(4). She's sure does love to drink though. She was okay with me smoking for a week or two, but she's still paranoid I'm gonna get busted... O well.

i got caught just now, and i feel like shit. she was asking to come in my rooms, and gave it all the 'it smells funny in here' and then she was all like 'a mother can tell you know' but she was still smiling and she walk off and said dont eat all the sweets ;) i feel pretty shitty but im still high, the real shame'll come in the morning, i guess i better get my story straight.

Im not sure if my parents know I smoke or not. I came home once stoned off my ass because I thought my parents were at a party and it turns out they were already back home and my dad said I was acting funny so he sat me down and being the guy he is, doesn't ask me if im on drugs but gives me this big talk on how drugs ruined his friends lives. I think he thought I was doing coke though because 1, I was really nervous and sweatiing and shaking and 2. When he was talking all he talked about were what happened to his friends who did coke. But he did hint that while he didnt approve of dope, that it was o.k. to experiment but dont get to attached to it. I told him I had a severe stomach ache (which I kept saying over and over while I was high and I also used that as an excuse why I came home a little early.) I dont think he bought it but I think hes kind of let it go since it's just been that one time

My dad thinks it's cool as long as I'm not stupid, mom just tolerates it under the same conditions.

my parents converted me. i toke up with my mom and my dad. but my dad can only take a few hits a month cuz he gets piss tested.

I was growing some weed in my room and my mom asked me what it was. I told her that they were plants i was growing for a class in school and she walked away proud that my interests were as strong as they were.
My sister Janet came home from college and was helping my mom do laundry. Janet then proceded to take my clothes in my room when she had noticed the small cannabis plants growing. She came out of my room and asked my mom..." Mom, what are you doing letting dai*ma grow weed in his bedroom?"
My mom shit her pants. When i got home my mom said to me " Your sister was here earlier and was helping me do laundry. She came out of your room and asked me what i was doing letting me grow weed in my room?"
I said to my mom. "oh boy". I then at her rather aggressive request took them outside and planted them in the garden behind the tomato's, which she watched me all summer carrying water to them and caring for them.
About 2.5 weeks before they were ready to harvest my dad says " I see those plants out back are getting pretty big. You better cut'em down before i get to them"
I took my dad very serious because he was a big man. After i had picked my crop 2.5 weeks early my dad comes up to me and says " You picked those plants?" I said, Yes dad, i did. He said " I was only kidding. You should of let them grow"
To this day i feel like i did the right thing. My dad definately would of chopped them down and throw them in the burning barrel out back. What a total head fuck.

ive tried so hard with my parents but they wont even read the shit i shove in their face. Ive had so many arguments with my mom but she thinks that every fact I tell her is a lie from one of my friends.. my parents are basically dumbfucks and are too stubborn to change their minds. My dad doesnt seem to care too much but will yell at me if my mom tells him to. He said if it was legal he would "go to the store and buy yas a twelve pack of reefer" (lol) but since it is illegal he wont tolerate it. Anyone got any ideas how I can get them to see the light...cuz my parents are always so paranoid that im gonna overdose on weed even though you cant. My mom is one of those people that thinks people die from weed, become retarded and she thinks i will get caught by the police (which i wont)

my parents know. They care only cause they think i smoke too much, but they smoked back in the 70's so theyre cool with me gettin high, just not all the time.... plus they fuck with me.... when I go out, every now and then when i get home all the snack foods are hidden! When i wake up in the morning everything is back in its place and my dad just laughs at me

I just got busted on 12/31. My mom found over two ounces, a bong, screens, rolling papers, and an ounce of salvia. I went all down the toilet. :(

kinda converted. I got caught about 76592539 times so they just got used to it. they knew it wasnt bad but they were just concerned about the "gateway" shit. my mom is still a little against weed but my dads cool with it as long as i dont get arrested.

Have to agree with you there mate.
Ireland is (slowly) getting more and more weed brought in.
In the past year the amount of people who grow it has risen alot and there's definitly more coming in on the ships.
Dublin, obviously, is where most of it is, but if you get talking to the right people you can get some very nice deals.
I haven't smoked soap in over a year now thank fuck.

I'd say Tralee would be your best bet in Kerry, and Carlow for the south east. Good few weed dealers in Carlow, most of them rip-offs though.

And to that guy who said he wants to do a fear and loathing in Ireland, that's a great idea. Ireland is the best place to get in the bits.

I'm always asking if they can get anythin decent, and most of them dont even know what im talking about.

Go to sessions/house parties, have a joint with your dealers, be more open about your smoking, etc. and eventually you will have lots of contacts.

Yeah i know my cousins are from Galway and the people down there are so sound. Im very open about my smoking i even got a few people dealing for other dealers its a shitty little town any way and Believe me im good mates with all the dealers down here and there is no weed anywhere. There was weed down here once but it tasted like grass and was fully seeded an ounce was selling for 50
and you were gettin alot more than an ounce cuz they couldnt sell it.
I fucking hate soapbar but sum buzz is better than no buzz.

i "converted them" when i was like 14... i just told them like it was.. i enjoyed what i was doing, made them realize the fact that just about everyoen does soemthing they enjoy that is probably not the healthiest thing.. then told them that nothing they could was gonna keep me from it, so they might as well just deal with it, instead of wasting time with the arguments that were to ensue if they decided to develope a problem with it. it's pretty much true with most underage teens here too, i mean how many of you know your parents do/would have a problem with it, and still do it anyways? with me, it was just being honest, instead of wasting the time hiding it when they'd find out eventually anyways (lets face, no one is going to get away with anything their whole life... someone's bound to find out eventually, whether it be smoking weed, or a mass murderer.. no one can escape getting caught with what they do their whole life... tho i think it more has to do with the subconscience "wanting" to be caught, then, just not being slick enough to hide it forever, repeat criminals ALWAYS end up start leaving shit behind that could incriminate them, that before they would of known to hide it)

who's to say he didn't get caught? i never said people always end up getting caught by authority figures and punished... i just said they always get caught... which i'm sure he did, after so many, he was bound to of got walked in by someone, maybe even killed them before they were able to tell anyone... doens't change the fact that he did at some point get caught... doesn't it seem a bit weird that someone would commit that many murders, then all of a sudden for no given reason, just stop?

my mom doesnt like me doing it, wants me to stop, especially since i had one run-in with the police, but my dad doesnt care, since he smokes too.
