i had this done on my chest about 6 months ago,today was one of the worst days for a caregiver in the systym,my mom is being denied in home care because last week when they came over i was gone ,getting her meds,long story short,i have been emailing all i no,news agencys,7 on your side,i even contacted lance armstrong,s.ppl..the nurse that came over said i neglect my mom,this nurse i only see once in a blue moon,she tries to tell me how to do my job,anyway she filed a writ to social services,no worrys ppl,i have had this done before to me,the cops and social workers have been here last yr,another story,anyway anyone no any one who no,s someone important,i need to find why we are being treated like this by the sysytm,my mom needs to have her cathader changed it is clogged,the emergency room wont do it they say contact my dr,i did i have to wait till friday till she can be seen,i need laywers,i need advice from someone who no,s more than weed .this is a cry for help from me,if i wait that long she will more than likly develope a infection again,this is a cry for help,no bullshit remarks please,i am at my wits end trying to make it better for my mom!!!!who can i call that will help,who is out there that knows important ppl that can help,i dont have much money at all,but all help i get will be greatly felt ,thats it i will never again ask like i just did now,but i am only one person and i have to do what i do at my best now!!!!!,Thanks to all with all those kind words,,,,,Hempheadjack.ps if anyone has phone numbers of agencys that help cases like mine ,let me know please,i have tried to no avail,no return call backs atleast some words of comfort would be great from these places,even onh my end nothing at all no return call backs,

I went straight to the top of the chain of command,and prayed for you and your mom..it's a start. The only thing I can think of,is that you need to contact a personal injury lawyer and explain how your mom needs immediate help and start threatening everyone with civil and criminal charges,if they don't help your mom,maybe a malpractice lawyer can help,and you can start with that dang nurse and the emergency room director,at the hospital you went to. Your mother's doctor,should at least call the hospital and order some help,if he can't do it..if not,then he needs to be talked to by a malpractice lawyer too.

Dang it-I know several nurses in my own family,that would help your mom with no expectation of being paid-they'd do it just because your mom needs help-not red-tape ! What in the hell is wrong with the doctors and nurses there ? Are they all heart-less,God-less liberals ?

I think that you should call her doctor back and tell them it's an emergency and that if they don't git her help right away,that you're gonna press criminal charges of reck-less endangerment and a civil malpractice lawsuit as well. hey torog,i overheard my moms doc telling someone(already breach)there was nothing he can do ,she is real old and sick,so after i heard that,i called him the next day on phone and told him if he did not either see my mom or even give her her owed meds(yes),he has been late on many times getting her meds to her,i would press negalgent chrgs,well long story is he discontinued her and reffered her to another doc,after her seeing this same doc for 30 yrs,he does all this,anyway red tape is way to much,have a great one torog,rabbye went down in a blaze of glory,he was getting some and looked at me and passed out and never woke up

Well it sounds like her former doctor is in the CYA mode,maybe you should go after him with a malpractice lawyer,he sounds like he's running scared to me. I wouldn't use the doctor he referred,if he's a friend of the doc,then chances are she won't git much better help..and they may be in collusion together.

Did your mom git her catheter changed ?

A malpractive lawyer,will probably take on your case without an up-front retainer,he'll just charge you if he wins your case. Lawyers are best for dealing with the red tape..clearly-y'all need a lawyer to represent your interests..the system only fears lawyers..not us private citizens.

Sorry to hear about yer beloved rabbit..I'm certain that he lived a pretty good life,under your care.

hey torog,as soon as i left today to go somewhere the county social serveces show up with a aunt who i never see and a niece who i never see,anyway i was gone.my next door neighbors i have know for over 35 yrs is called over to let lady in,she inspects house,mind you i have this on front yard window,she said sorry to bother us and told my mom top find a new in home care service,whole house smells like pot,cops show up,my weed room is locked,they say they are not here for weed ,just checking on my moms health and care,boy,what a nother day in paradise,we now need to find a new in home care ,cuz other one is nothing but trouble says county social worker.she has a appt for doc,systym is half ass working i guess

what kind of medical problems does your mom have, why is she on a catheter? does she smoke pot? as far as the doctor not being willing to help I would go from doctor to doctor or emergency room to emergency room untill someone did something! then after the problem was solved only then would I worry with lawyer's.

I'm wondering who called the county on ya ? It seems to me,that it's the 'system',that's letting you down..and not you,not caring for yer mom properly,every mother should have a son who's willing,even,to put make-up on them ,so that they can have some dignity.

and as i was talking to dr he said all is ok,so i started to yell out with my voice being heard,i asked him in front of many ppl,why is my mom being denied in home health care,i am not here about her bed soars that she does not have anymore,i take care of em when they happen.i want to know why it has taken 4 days and a half to get my mom seen,especially sence she is bed ridden,hey wait doc,dont close door,ok nurse,can some one answer me,forget it ,i see whats happing.lets go mom,mom call your insurance again .let them know what was said and heard,
