Hi,,
New here and just wanted to say hello. I just received my card from New Mexico's MCP (medical cannabis program) a couple weeks ago.
Don't know what to say other then this program is very frustrating. I wrote to all the producers on the list to get some meds or to try and figure out where to go? and nothing, almost a month now. It is like having an asthma attack with only a pic of an inhaler:)
I didnā??t realize how bad the problem here in New Mexico was until I actually had the card in hand.
This is my story in very short.
I was employed in the heating and cooling Industry for 15 years, (refrigeration tech ) most of that industrial refrigeration ie coal mines gas processing plants ect.... I was exposed to a lot of asbestos and other chemicals in that time I was also exposed to a pretty nasty defoliant/ herbicide in my early 20's ( I am 40 now) A couple of times I had to handle an unknown (too me) herbicide/ defoliant under the knowledge I was not in any danger.. I was just a young man doing my job. Was also what you might call a adrenaline junky for many years and sustained many accidents . I have worked hard my whole life and played even harder. Peace all and I hope this program mkes it to the point where "all" can live without suffering.
non-epileptic, seizure disorder---( daily) early post-traumatic epilepsy. related to massive head trauma.
hereditary epilepsy--- "petit mal" this is daily. My life is consumed with this
Excelled degenerative disc and joint diseases as well as two major accidents that broke my back and neck..--- surgery at c-5 to c-7 hardware in place. Entire L spine is herniated and in need of surgery. Many spine problems.
Low lying cerebral tonsil-- Neurologist knows more about this then I.
Reconstructive surgery on my right hand, wrist--- fell off a roof 30' + landed on a ladder
Fractured my neck c-5 thru c-7completly severed all but 2 fingers on r hand. they were able to reattach them. looks good. Don't work real good but looks good:)
Chronic asthma,, bronchitis,,--- I have 52% function left in my lungs. This has gone from 96% 5 years ago to 52% this year. stopped smoking 4 years ago:) Bronchial tubes are leathered and will not heal nor can be repaired. This is Thought to be the entry for whatever is screwing me up.
Allergic reactions to many forms of opiates---Trying to figure out what would work for pain almost killed me in itself. . Physical reactions such as hives, respiratory shutdown ect...
