Your Special Lighter

Hey guys, its me again the weed studying asian kid ^^. So yea i don't think iv seen a thread for lighters. I duno about anyone else but i have a lighter that i call Baby Lu. Its a zippo blu lighter and spent about 80 to get the lighter and then to get it inscripted ( it says "What are you looking at me for? Get the shit and lets BURN!" basically like its talking to me when i look at it). Anyway i got this lighter cause it has a really hot blue flame and is oderless and tasteless. Anyone else have there own "Special" Lighter?

i only use bics, i have about 50,000... they're all special in their own way

I wouldn't use a zippo for smoking anything besides cigarettes and joints...

IDK I have one zippo for every bowl I own so thats a hard question. I have a couple of torches but I don't use them unless I'm smoking my hookah, or that special one I smoke once a week:thumbsup:

ive got this cool zippo, its blue, has a peace sign on it, it says peace on the side, and my initials are engraved on it

i duno i just decided to invest money into it. My main way of smoking is using waterfalls and we usually smoke on a rooftop so i got tired of the bigs always burning out whil ein the middle of milking the bottle. So i just got one of these torchers to eleminate that problem. I like it, burns the weed real fast and i have really strong lungs so i can suck in about 2-2.5L's of air real quick. And its pretty good for those homemade vaporizors i posted especially the flood light one ^^

Ive got a sick zippo that i use for joints that has a picture of a dragon eating the moon

I know this is almost like blasphemy, but I hate Bics. I prefer a (cheap) lighter that I can adjust to fit what I'm smoking. Small flame for cornering bowls, big flame for sparking blunts. Just my two cents.

but the feel of a bic... its just so sturdy, and it lights almost everytime.

if u need a bigger flame, use two bics:thumbsup:

i like clipper lighters. i only use bics tho. why you may ask? because i can oly find clippers online, and i have no credit card :S. i saw some nice clippers with marijuana designs on them, there were 4 different ones, and i want them so bad. its like 7 for 4 of them, and i would pay that. thats how much i love clippers.

Yes! I love djeeps! Wish they sold em more places though, they're really hard to find around here.

you take peoples lighters without even knowing it right

just a common reflex like breathing, i do it sometimes but ppl do it alot to me and im getting sick of it lol

my "special lighter" is a duco with a bunch of differnt colored pot leaves on it:thumbsup:

Ya i use bics, they are good sturdy quality long lasting lighters :D

djeep lighters are ok, i have one in my room, and every headshop and convenience store around has them, but NO fuckin store has clippers. i had one once, and its still in my room, but it isnt a re-fillable one, and its shaped differently, but i keep it because its clipper, and i will continue to do so until i get another clipper.

I like being able to light anything, anywhere, in any wind conditions.
Also good for torching your thumb if you aren't careful.

All the Bics at my house have shit written on them in Sharpie like "don't steal my fucking lighter you slimy bastards" and they STILL walk off.

If you see someone with a lighter like that, tell them you know where it came from... grr....

maybe the best for smoking but a bic cant have real value or meaning, like a zippo can. Also they arent refillable so they dont last

sorry i like my zippo, i hate having to relight lighters and this new generation zippo blu doesnt give u a reason to relight cause its windproof and its quality stuff

I love my Coast Guard Zippo but it never leaves the house and I don't really use it to light anything but joints because of the lighter-fluid smell.
The Bic is the generic workhorse of the pothead world... the butane torch is for hurricanes and rainy days... the Zippo is just a sentimental object that happens to be useful too! ....imho :jointsmile:

well thats why i use the zippo blu, its the first zippo torch lighter, its usefull to smoke with and pretty

so many times i been at a party/nobody had a lighter but i always keep a backup in my trunk/the barbeque kind/the one you use to hit the fo' footahs/matches got wood so i ain' smokin' no sulfur/plus i hate zippos cuz they taste like gas/take a raw bong hit, make it taste like ass/nah, my favorite thing to smoke weed with is bics/unless you got a vaporizer/then we smokin' outta that shit.

Probably my lighter thats like a mini guitar, I was really high one night and tried to jam with my friends band with it...right at the ministage where everybody was jumping about. Although it uses gas very quickly..

yea thats one downside of the torches but if u got gas doesnt matter, yea i do hate smokeing with something that has a after taste like the classic zippos, but torches i dont have a problem with

do you have any cvs pharmacy stores in your area? im not sure wich states they retail in..but djeeps are in partnership with cvs and they are sold for a buck there
