Room smelling like weed smoke?

Iâ??ve smoked for a while, but the last few months Iâ??ve been doing it about once a night in my room. Well I just started to notice that my room is beginning to permanently smell like weed smoke. Itâ??s not a catastrophe, because my dad smokes in his room all the time, so itâ??s not like weâ??re all not used to the smell already. Still, I donâ??t like the idea that someone like an uncle or whatever might come into my room one day and instantly KNOW that I smoke weed a lot. Also my brother is gay about weed and I donâ??t want to end up with a confrontation with him about it.

Itâ??s probably because I usually smoke late late at night alone in my room with the window and door shut. I have to have the window shut because my brothers room is right next to mine and I donâ??t want the smoke to go out my window then right into his or worse if one of the neighbors is in their backyard, takes a whiff and goes nuts.

Is there anything I can do to keep my room from smelling like weed all the time? I donâ??t want to use incense because that just reminds me too much of what some anti-social goth would do, and it would also be just as big of a give away as the weed smoke smell itself.

smoke out the window, but let out small puffs at a time. it fades into the air pretty quickly.

Just buy a glade plug in. Since this stuff makes your room smell wonderful 24/7, the smell of weed would be gone in about 20 minutes with this plugged in your room.

I always smoke out my window. Fuck the neighbors. :D

fuck it dude just get the insence or try blowing the smoke in a plastic bottle or something then let it out somewhere far far away. ;) i have that same problem and i want to try to get an air purifier but i don't know where to get it. if u find out, let me know. but the bottle thing works for me, or the insence. whatever man. :cool: :D

if you smoke late like you said why cant you smoke out the window, your neighbors will most likely be sleeping. as far as hiding the smell already in your room try lighting alot of incense.

just use some lysol Spray.

the permanent smell is coming (at least partly) from resin on the carpet or flooring. The only sure way to remove the smell of mary from a room is to rug-doctor the whole floor with hot water and rubbing alcohol. This works even on drug dogs. However, without this cleaning, a drug dog can pick up on the resin for 6 years.

But the glade plug-in works well if you're not being investigated. And incense isn't just what "some anti-social goth" would be into.. most people use incense in ceremonial ways, like meditation or yoga, or to relax, or hide the smell OF MARIJUANA..

I smoke in my room nightly but my room smells fine. What I do, is I smoke in my closet. On top of that, I exhale into a pillowcase. The pillowcase seems to be the thing that contains all the smoke and prevents it from leaving the closet area (thus leaving my room smelling normal).

I also have my laundry hamper right by the door, so if I leave my stinky socks or something right in there, then ppl will most likely smell that instead of any traces of weed. So if you need to hide a smell in a hurry, just leave out something stinky. Or eat some sardines in your room.

Use a cieling fan, normal fan, FABREEZ!!, glade plugin, BLOW UR FUCKING SMOKE OUT WINDOW FOR FUCK SAKE!!! AND FABREEZ MORE!!

pour liquid patchouli (sp?) everywhere.....i can go fog out a car and put one drop at any random part on my body and it doesn't only hide it....for some reason it neutralizes the smell...it's a miracle i guess but it's always worked for me

Douse the entire room in bleach.

Should help with the smell.

febreeze or any fabric 'smell nuetraliser/remover' rather than a smelly thing is wonders

OK dude most of these ideas are good! I'll say that but , you should get a paper towel tube and get about a dozen dry fabric sheets un fold them and ball them and stuff them in there. the smoke smells like flowers. and you should have your windo open but just a little because it makes a vacuum type effect that go's out the window

take your sheets, clean them.
clean the floors
use fabreeze
keep your window half open (if yours is upstairs) 24/7 for constant air flow so no smoke settles

charcoal air filter? i've seen websites that tell you how to make them. they're used in grow ops to filter out the smell of growing plants to the outside..so im going to presume it will help with the smoke it self? i havent tried this to be fair.

JUST MAKE A DOOD TUBE!! take an empty toilette paper roll and fill it with a few dryer sheets, then when you exhale, blow the smoke through it. it will come out smelling fairly fresh and not too marijuana like...most of the "bad" smell will get trapped in the dryer sheets. it will be your best friend for inside smoking.

i keep a glade plug-in running; either that, or one of those oil burner things that heats the incense in the air.

and of course, i burn incense sticks. nag champa, chinese imported. best kind of shit you can use. stains your room a pleasant smell, overcoming the marijuana if you let it "bake" in your room.

anyway, i blow right out my window and you can smell zero. and your brother wont smell it, it goes away in the air very fast.

Lol I made this thread like a year ago but someone decided to show off their thread resurrection skills.

Eh I basically took the window concept and expanded on it by installing a fan in my window. As the fan is always blowing air out of my window, it creates a negative pressure environment in my room which guarantees that air will always be blowing in to my room through my door and always supplying my room with fresh air.

Only thing is, Iâ??ve been smoking so much that I canâ??t even tell if my room smells like weed anymore because Iâ??ve gotten so used to the smell. Meh its been a year I guess no one cares.

yo i would just smoke in your room with the window open. It will air your room out over night even if u don't exhale right out the window. Or you can get a spoof, made of a toliet paper roll with bounce sheets in it, and exhale through it, you won't smell a thing...

youre lucky that your dad dosent mind you smoking in the house not the same story with a lot of people, if someones got a problem with it well fuck em and set em straight, you are who you are innit, and its your room..
or just smoke outside, like me.

Use a doob tube and then when your done light some incense you should be alright.

I agree with the Nag Champa incense-- it's commonly available in a lot of headshops, smells amazing, and covers the smell nicely. Hell, anyone who smells you burning it won't dare accuse you of smoking anything; it smells so nice, it's perfectly understandable why you would burn it just to have a pleasant atmosphere.

i just take a hit then stick my head out my window and blow it out, theres absolutely no smell of weed or nasty drier sheets......and dont tell me you cant do it, cause i live in the most stuck up subdivision and my house is like a foot from my neighbors and my window is right in the front of the house, use to do that drier sheets non sense but then one time when i was really trippin i inhaled with my mouth up to the flooty and it made me so sick, and i never liked the stale, musty smell that comes out of them....but yeah good idea with the fan in the window rig

get a paper towl tube and tape paper towel over one end, and fill it with scented tissues and dryer sheets and spray perfume in it and stuff. and blow your hits into it

Dood tube? Where im from its called a groove tube, but i guess both works hehe, and from my experience smoking in houses it only works to smoke a few bowls with a groove/dood tube. Anything more and i had to start changing the dryer sheets in it. Im happy now because i can just bake the fuck outta my car and roll down all the windows and sun roof and my car will smell brand new :rasta:

I have to cover up the smell all the time, so I just use a odor neutrilizer, but for me if you smoke cigs then that does the trick, I usually blow the smoke into a pillow then spray the pillow and you can usually never tell.


Its works for me, I haven't gotten caught yet, and my neighbors pretty much hate me, and if they could smell it then they would tell my landlord (they are related) and he hates mj, and looks down on people who smoke
