well all those who wanted it changed finally got their wish...

I so seen that and thought I was going insane! Nice job!

first thing I noticed today... nice with the larger leaf in the background and good riddens to the skull!!!

Don't be a spoil-sport, Fencewalker. If you were up-to-date on your Cannaknowledge, you would know that the ImageReaper (a very valued member) left the boards when the previous logo was installed. This is a valid thread, IMO. Now, maybe IR will come back and bring all of his wonderful growing knowledge and experience back with him! Rejoice, Fencewalker. Welcome to the boards!

Reaper asked me to post a Congratulations, where it would be sure to be seen - that's why I started the new thread (after all, EVERY day, there are numerous "where can I buy seeds?" and "do they ship to the USA ?" threads in the Seed section started) :D - regardless, that was a very nice thing for you to say, Green Fog, I will be sure to tell Reaper to read it (he misses a lot of his old friends in here - in SOME ways, this is his preferred Forum, and busier than most) - 'Growing Success' to all ! :jointsmile:

Seriously? It's plain as day. It's the old letter of "Cannabis.com" with a pot lead behind it, more to the right then in the middle, on a grey, or possibly terquise [im colour blind] background.

Plant, go into your internet options, and clear your cookies. Should then be fine.

I totally agree with the change, as I thought the skull seemed too negative, for some strange reason.

BUT...why has the Cultivation section always had a different layout than the rest of the site? I mean, someone pointed out to me (samwhore, I think) that the Growing sections do not have the leaf backdrop and something else that was different.

Now the new logo comes, and we still have the skull in the Growing forums. :( ...which is where I spend most of my time...

Could someone remedy that? Thanks! :D

There wasn't really a problem with the old logo to me but I love this one a lot more! :hippy:

Nice change and a more thoughtful 'mark'. I'm happy to see it finally changed. I already felt like such a bone-headed criminal anyway.

For dumping the skull! As a medical cannabis user, I found it offensive. Cannabis is the "Tree of Life" and I find it incomprehensible to associate it with a skull- a symbol of death! As a cannabis site, it is important to show a more mature and sensible logo, or we will appear to be promoting the negative aspects of using. While the skull was not bad at all, I felt it was a little out of place with the rest of the site design... the new logo seems to fit much better :jointsmile:
