How close am I to harvest?? **Hi-Res Pics** First Grow

Ok, here are some pics of my plants right now.. Flowering was started on Jan 13th.. Are they ready to harvest? if not how much longer do you expect??

This plant was *supposed* to be northern lights but judging by the skinny leaves and how long its taking to flower I think the seed guy ripped me off..

This plant has barely any smell also.. It's quite odd.. I think this one is still quite a ways from harvest.. I have about 8 plants that look like this one.. It looks like a decent yield but I don't know why its taking so long to flower.. There is hardly any amber hairs on this one..

I would let them go another week or two.

IMO, not only do the crystals take on a maturer color and appearance as they grow ripe, like a fruit, so does the whole bud. I like to think I can see fairly accurately by judging the general ripeness of the bud. Anyone agree?
The last pic is definitely not ready.

Its hard to see in those pics, but I would probably harvest those plants, branch by branch, for about 10 days.

yea id say between 1 and 2 weeks.

What strain is that last plant? it looks like some kind of hemp.. or a strong sativa . if so it will need alot more time to flower by the looks of things. :)

depends on your lighting. a 400 watt HPS 10-14 days a 600 watt HPS 8-10 days, a 1000 watt Hps, 1 week. Depending on how you want the high to be, you could take longer for a more narcotic high, but these are probably the optimal times. Hard to tell from pictures. You need to get a high powered magnifying glass and look at the tricromes, when 3/4 of them are amber, thats the ideal time to harvest.

You cant judge by pistle colour alone! only by trichrome colour!!! :)

Looks nice! I would think another week or a little more but I look for the trics are mostly all cloudy and some (10%-30%) are beginning to turn red.

IMO that's usually "narcotic"

Key word being alone. It seems nice to know that when the hairs are brown 50-70 percent to start checking the trichs then...that would have saved me some time if I had know that...lol. GL, I think you have a few more weeks, but that really is an uneducated guess not knowing trichs.
