Germicidal Lights?

In at least one of the product descriptions it says that these are the type of bulbs used in the "Ionic Breeze" silent air purification system that you see advertized on TV.

Or what about these things - cfls which supposedly remove odours?

Would any of these be of any real value in a small small grow cab as an alternative to more elaborate forms of odour control? And the germicidal bulbs ("Ionic Breeze" type), would they possibly even help prevent other problems like mould? OTOH. does anyone think there is a strong chance they could actually do harm to the plants, or the finished product?

I'm going out to do a little window shopping today (lights, cabinets, etc.) and am wondering if anyone "in the know" thinks these are worth incorporating into my plans as a relatively inexpensive way for a noob working on a small scale to keep the smell of flowering plants under control? Obviously, what little extra light they provide probably couldn't hurt either.
