Starting January 1, 2005, all cell phone numbers will be made public to telemarketing firms. So this means as of Jan 1, your cell phone may start ringing off the hook with telemarketers, but unlike your home phone, most of you pay for your incoming calls. These telemarketers will eat up your free minutes and end up costing you and/or Wonderware money in the long run.




According to the National Do Not Call List, you have until December 15, 2004 to get on the national â??Do not call list?for cell phones.




Please call 1-888-382-1222 from the cell phone that you wish to have put on the â??do not call list?to be put on the list.




You may also do it online on HYPERLINK http://www.donotcall.gov




Registering only takes a minute, is in effect for 5 years and will possibly save you money (definitely frustration)! Make sure you register now.

Fucking telemarketers, i swear they call me like 5 times a day everyday...

Thanks Day, cant believe they can now call cell phones. Fucking BULLSHIT. Put my # and some good friends numbers on the do not call list

Is this thing just for the US, or does it extend to the world-wide market?

If I get any unsolicited calls, I will be sueing them the fuck up..believe:mad:
Especially if they think that I am gonna pay for them..FFS...I'll rip their fucking throats out!!!

If you still get the calls, just answer and quickly tell them to take you off the list. You'd be surprised how well it works.

If all else fails, just use some Jim Florentine tactics to fuck with them. :D

I worked as a tele"researcher" and we did surveys on people. The Do Not Call List does not apply to people doing surveys, lol!

fer fuckz sake...im gettin a cell fer christmas. i dunno wut the # iz yet tho i guess ima have 2 find out hahah. i wuz a telemarketer fer a week, beelive me, if u think answerin a telemarketers call iz bad, u shood try makin that same phone call a million timez in a row. thank god the entire staff smoked bud there. but yah, u never get 2 many ppl who ask 2 b put off the list, an the ppl who dunt ask get called back again that same night usually cuz there number goez back into the system. so make sure u tell them ta fuck off an take yer # off the list.
