Can someone give me a scientific answer?
I hate this shit and I'v got a new clean source but no money and this couple of grams bag of gritted skunk in my draw is starting to look very appealing and all my mates want it but I don't wanna be responsible for fucking them up and I don't want to risk fucking my one and only set of lungs...

The filter might get rid of the gritty shit but it also filters out the THC and won't get you high...
the filters for joints dont filter thc it filters all the bad shit you dont want going into your lungs
Filters DO filter thc - especially ones from cigs.
But yes, it should stop the grit.
To be honest you are better with a bong though as water filtering the smoke will nail the glass 100% Even a bukket/waterfall is better than a spliff.

If your using a cigarette filter, as opposed to a roach, you should be ok. It will catch the grit, no problem. You will still get high, you just need to smoke a little more... I use cigarette filters with my cannabis when I'm sick and my lungs are irritated. I have noticed that the high is more "up" and "clear" when you use a filter...
maybe you could try putting in like a centimeter or 2 of a cigatette filter?
but bongs would be the best way.

man u sound experienced in the grit! I was smoking it in a club so cudn't exactly bong it, I didnt get any crunches in the teeth and my throat has been fine, unlike before and I got quite a nice high. Bong is probably safer still though but from now on I'm steering clear of that shite.Quote:
