Yes, mine get hot, but they shouldn't get so hot that you can't touch them, or as hot as a regular incandescent bulb. At least mine don't get that hot anyways.
if he's talking 100 actual watts..not equivalent..then it would probably get pretty hot if it's still air...I was using 26w CFL's and I kept air blowing on them so I could keep them pretty close to the tops of the plants..when I didn't have air blowing on them, they got pretty warmQuote:
