Why everything is so fascinating stoned...

So I was hanging over at my buddy's place pretty stoned when i started thinkin about why it is that everything is just so fun to look at when high. I mean I know there's a whole chemical explanation to everything but tell me if you think I may be on to something here...
If you ever see little kids walking around everywhere they always seem to be wide-eyed and fascinated with even the most insignificant things that we today wouldn't even give half a glance to. This is most likely because as children we are explorers all the time, always discovering new things that we've never seen or experienced before. But over time things that used to be new and exciting become routine and we just dont get the same excitement from them. This is where I came to the conclusion that the reason I love to just wonder around like a little kid when I'm high is because being high is almost like witnessing the world all over again but from a new perspective, everything is just different enough to the point where I can always find something new that I never had noticed before, whether because i really never noticed it or just because it looks different. Either way, getting high allows us to see the world in a new way, a better way in my opinon. :stoned:

i couldnt agree more and thats one of the reasons i love smokin. you get a different appreciation for things.

it makes you realize all the things you are missing when you are sober, all the things that go un noticed or unappreciated. a couple of weeks ago i was riding in my freinds car while high. we were going down a road ive been down a thousand times. but this time i noticed so many things about that area of road that ive never noticed before. very cool.

yes... exactly... i could not have put in better words... when im stoned i feel like i was witnessing the world with the eyes of a child and its very good indeed...

i love how time just slows down so it seems that every passing second you can anazlyze every little thing that just happend and everything is so new feeling i love it

so true. whenever people look at me and i'm wondering around high, i always assume i look like a little kid, wide-eyed, with my mouth hanging slightly open. haha, i love weed.
