I've heard of methods used to get hemp to grow in to a squatty, yet very dense, bush-like form. I'm pretty cramped for space, so if anyone knows what I'm talking about, please respond.

I've been experimenting with mirror's (acrylic mirror pieces) placed under plants, I'm growing (4) in a cabinet and (2) have mirror's placed below them around the stalk, these (2) are 7 inches @ 4 weeks and very, very bushy compared to the (2) without mirror's and contain large amounts of under growth, this may be worth a try for you.
No Expert just havin' fun.....:rastasmoke:
Do a search for the term LST. Also search for FIM and topping.
worth a shot i suppose, doesnt sound like it'll hurt the plant
The plants palisade layer with the clorafill (sp) layer are on the top of the leaf.
I would be willing to bet that the time spent in the grow chamber/room raised the co2 levels , and that helped the plants grow.
The exception could be the fan leaves were fanning the plants and exposed there tops to the light.
As you might want to know if reflection was 100% silver deposited vaccume coating you would get some power past the plants and reflected to the top.
I suggest you spend a 400-600 $ and buy a good photometer to check the actual light output I'll take a big guess at 1-2 % net reflective value.
Note its not done by NASA ,RSS for the same reason. But they only have a budet of $ 10,000 per at lift off.
Just paint everything in the room/space flat white to maximize you efforts. :wtf:
Now think of how many grower put mylar on the floors :smokin:
thats a good idea except that i'm only growing my plants for personal use and NOT for any kind of profit (and i'm not just saying that to cover my tracks), so i'm not willing to make any kind of large investments since i don't plan to recoup any of it by selling.
so what are u growing ur plants for if ur not gunna use or sell it???
Mrs Greenjeans has the right idea tho.. LST (low stress Training) Is very easy, inexpensive and usfull way to grow ur plants.
Topping will save u some space and can generate a bit more bud if thats what ur lookin 4. It can also make ur plant slightly bushier on the top if u do it more than once like an upside down pyramid...
Incase u didnt know or havent researched it yet, Low Stress Training is whn u bend ur plant over and ty it down. If you do this repetidly it creates new shoots and makes a low lying bush. (basically)
Gd luck

anywho, sounds like LST just might work, i'll do some research on it.
