you sound well informed on hair testing. my wife has a job oppurtunity coming up @ a local casino. they hair test & she has smoked 3 or more X in the last 90 days. i've read extensively on the the subject, have determined that the detox shampoos are basically a scam, but read one of your reponses to a post that there are a cpl ways to pass but none being 100%. have come across a product in my searching called "toxin wash" which isn't a shampoo, but actually an acid wash. has a regiment of stripping hair prior to it's use with a vinegar/distilled water mixture for a few days then using it. i understand the how/where the metabolites get into the hair, have you heard of this product & know if it works? and could you enlighten me on any of the ways that you said were not 100% effective? she has since quit toking, but has prescriptions for opiates & barbituates. she will forthcoming about the meds but if she performs a remedy that will cleanse her hair & it ends up negative for substances she has divulged do you see an issue in that? thanking u in advance! tripp:stoned:

For the most part, years ago they had you list your prescription meds before you take the test. Now, they do it backwards. If you test positive for a prescription drug, the MRO (medical review officer) will call and find out if you have a legitimate prescription. So if you should have something in your hair but you don't, that is not going to fail you or look suspicious.

I have never heard of this "toxin wash" before. The methods that I know of to pass a hair drug test do use a stripping method along with a strong cleaner to get to the core of the hair. You are right, most detox shampoos are a rip off but there is one brand that has actually been shown to reduce THC metabolites in the hair.
