depressing highs

lately ive been getting really depressed when i smoke. at first i will be happy and having a blast but after i am done actually hitting i get a really sad feeling. i see the shittiness in everything and i feeel bad for even smoking weed. i feel like im a piece of shit and could be doing better things with my time it fucking blows because i know im not. i look at people and get depressed about them and think wierd sad shit about everhthing around me.
what the fuck is wrong with me? how do i stop this shit does this happen to you guys?

like i was coming down from a high once and i looked at my younger cousin whos a slightly annoying but bright guy...and i was just thinking to myself, man this guy probably has no friends, no life, no future, no romantic experiences...what is he living for? and then i thought, damn, i'm no better myself.
also one time when i was hanging with this chick i was really into back then...i started seeing that she wasn't all that good looking when i was coming down from this sick high, she went from a 10 to a 4...i started seeing all these flaws in her.

that happen to me sometimes but then i just smoke more, and also it hasnt been happening recently since i have been broke for the past couple weeks so im only smoking like 1 time a day so im more grateful when i do get to get high and enjoy it more

ive had them, I only get them when I smoke alone, Im sad that no one is with me and its those highs thatd be better with friends

damn everytthing you said i can really identify with...like girls who are supposedly really hot or really popular just seem so hagggard and fake when im high. i also look at people and see right into their souls and get really depressed about what i think is thier future. its so wierd but this shit usually only happens when im at a party with a bunch of drunks or im smoking with pepole i dont really have fun wiht

Try being active when you smoke. right after taking a few binger loads or smoking a j (whatever you do ) grab some headphones and go for a walk or skate. I find that when I force myself from my comfort zone on weed (where I don't really want to do stuff) and go surf, carve some hills, go on a hike, walk, I am GREATLY rewarded.

When I smoke an indica while depressed I stay depressed.

i feel the same way dude, not all the time when i smoke but sometimes. i feel like im wasting my life and that i need to be doing something so the people around me will not think less of me. It sucks but one thing that makes me feel better is knowing that life is a cycle of bullshit that i have very little control over and we should enjoy the time we have.

You should take a break when that happens. It's a sign your blazing yourself sideways, it's happened to me a few times in my bunning years.

Take a week or two off if possible. You'll want to smoke, but remember how it's screwing you up. You'll take two hits after some chill time and feel on top of the world again.
