ive heard no pest strips work and im trying them out right now for my problem
sorry i didnt get to this earlier but i just joined today and have not been able to post, alright so im only on my first grow right now, so im not saying im the most knowledgable person about growing, but before i started growing a did research like crazy, i did not want to spend all the money to start and just end up with shit. So i searched through forums like these talked to people and went to the hydroponics places and asked questions with the manager that has been growing for 35 years. I heard of a bunch of different things that can help spider mites but he told me that NOTHING is better than floramite SC. It kills them, kills the eggs, and makes it so they never come back or if uve never gotten them you will never get them. He also told me that it does not hard ur plants at all. If in veg state you can totally soak the plants and leave them for a couple of hours. If in flowering state you can soak for the first 2 weeks, after that they say to put it on a qtip and rub on. yes i know this could take forever but isnt a couple hours out of ur day better than a whole crop ruined. but dont hold this info against me im just trying to help a fellow grower out because i would like the same if i ever got into something and didnt know what to do. I hope this info helps and sorry it was so long just wanted to be as clear as i could.
im so high i hope it all made sence. That Homer kush got me good....
there are some organic pest sprays that you can use up til the day of harvest, like the brand Safers. (you would probably want to spray your plants down with water the day after tho, to wash it off)
other options: put plants outside for about 20mins to freeze the buggers off; or try misting plants with water...i hear spider mites don't like humidity. just be careful your plants are able to dry off well afterwards, you don't want bud mold.
I noticed mites on my plant a week an a half ago, bought a no-pest strip, they were gone within 24 hours.
they were 6.5 wks in, like you
Some of you have herd this before but I always say it anyways....
As for right now Its a bummer that you have bugs..
next time Get some neem oil and use it once a week until 2nd or 3rd week of flowering. EVEN IF YOU DONT SEE OR HAVE ANY BUGS..
its a awsome killer of bugs but more importantly it will prevent them from getting at your plants If they somhow find a way to start.
If theres anything Im sure to do as I grow its use neem oil once a week Regardless if I have or see bugs. I mean Ill let my plant go dry from being lazy and not watering it on time every now and again. But Neem oil I will never skip that.. or Neglet that step.

I'm sure this thread's author has already harvested by now so let's hear about the results!
