area 51 (the game)

for ps2.. anyone here has it who plays online? i love the infection game mode its soooo fun :D

o.0 they have it for ps2 with an online mode now?

last area 51 game i knew of was on regular ps.. and it was the same as the ones you play at the arcades....

so they made a new one?

yeah.. its been out for few years now..

its a fps, the single player gets pretty hard during the end.. but its good.. single player CAN get a lil bit borin after awhile but the online games are addictive as HELL..

the graphics are good (considerin its ps2 and it came out like 2004-2005) and the gameplay is pretty good, you can duel weld weapons like machine gun type things and shotguns.. if you dont have ur ps2 online then i dont think they'll be much replay value once u complete it (altho the single player campaign is long as hell).. but iv had this game for years now, iv got my ps2 online and im still playin it.. i started playin it again last night and i started playing at like 10pm or somethin and i eventully turned my ps2 off, i look at the time and its 5 in the morning.. and it didnt even seem like i was playing it that long!

my fav game mode tho is infection.. at the start of the game one player is infected, so he's a mutant with special abilities ect... all the other players are humans.. once the mutant player kills a human he'll turn into a mutant too.. and so on until everyones a mutant, then the round starts over again.

its a good game, if you like FPS you should defintly get it
