Torog- I just noticed your Location. Are you saying that God's Country is limited to Texas? Technically, isn't anywhere "God's Country"? hehe, I'd just like to know that I live in God's Country too.

No no, only Texas. It's the new promised land. In fact, when the Palestinians kick the Jews out of Israel, they'll all move to Texas! Houston will be the new Jerusalem.

So Houston Texans will be God's Team

Howdy SmokeyPotter,

Yup..Texas is God's Country ..and America is blessed by God,so I reckon that you could say that you live in God's Country too..but I don't think it counts as much-as it does when you're standing on Texas soil. Texan's often welcome other Texans back to Texas,if they're unfortunate enough to have to leave Texas,with "Howdy ! Welcome back-to God's Country !" . It's a saying-that's part of Texas culture.
