"Up all Night" and "A Classic Stoner college story"

Finals week is approaching fast, which means my workload has increased considerably. Within the next 2 weeks I have four major papers, so tonight I decided to start on the first, which is due tomorrow. I smoked earlier this evening so I was beginning to feel quite lethargic. I can't afford to miss a paper so I'll have to do it all tonight; probably anywhere from 5-10 pages of BS. Not wanting to risk dozing off, I take 2 Adderall (30 mg Each). I sit down at my computer eagerly waiting to start sharing my thoughts on if the French Revolution was reasonable or chaotic. However, before I start I recall that days when major papers are due, class does not meet. Lately my memory has gone to shit, so I decide against trusting myself, and walk down to a friend's, who is in the class, room. Out of nowhere he tells me that, "no, the paper is not due tomorrow, it's due thursday." This information collectively blows my mind. Just wow. Here I am: 60 mg of "slow-release" Adderall in me, no reason to stay up any longer, and no chance of sleeping for the next 12 hours, at least. How ironic, I finally get going on some important shit and find out that, no, the paper is not due tomorrow, so it's not entirely necessary for me to stay up the whole night! What a stoner I am sometimes!

Just thought I'd share a, what I hope you'll find, amusing story. And I'll be up all night; hanging out in the Chat, so I'll probably poke in every once in awhile. If you want to disturb:p me further, feel free to message me! AIM: orion0340 and MSN: [email protected]

So, I may as well make the best out of this situation and just start the paper that is due thursday. I mean, I have the opportunity now, me being awake, not distracted, and totally focused. May as well make good use of the situation.

Does anyone, come on Members with more wisdom than us young'ns:D, have any other funny,interesting,ironic,life-changing, or just plain awesome stories that they'd like to share about college life?? I love hearing these! :D

p.s. My Story is brought to you by the 1st person, present perfect tense style of writing. (I bet it's pretty obvious that I'm on Adderall. "See kids, Adderall doesn't get you 'high', it just makes you focus on one thing extremely well :) ...weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! I love to type! :p)

Alright, a story about how I impaled myself on a gate.

My freshman year of college, probably a month in, I was living in the dorms and was in the regular practice of gathering a group of friends from my hall to go smoke weed at the "moontower" (god I love D&C). It is actually the coaches tower on the practice fields so that the coaches can see what's happening. It was a great place to get stoned, it is about 50 feet tall and stands right next to a walking path along the river, really a beautiful spot to sit and get stoned.

So one night we decided to cut through the fields instead of going around. Now, the fields are about five feet higher than the walking path, and the tower stands on the walking path's level. I had always approached the tower A)from the walking path side, and B)at night. So I pass through the gate from the fields, and step over what I think is just a little chunk of concrete. Turns out the chunk of concrete was actually a wall around the tower. It was only an inch or two above the ground on the field side, but it fell five feet to the concrete pad below. Before I continue, I should mention that the tower is on this pad, surrounded by a chain link fence, and then the wall. As it happened, the gate was swung open at the time of my fall. On this gate was a latch, the kind you see on many gates of this type, kind of like a pivoting horseshoe. This latch was pointed up. As I fell sideways (only my right leg was over the wall), I hit the edge of the open gate and slid down the side. The latch embedded into the side of my right buttcheek about four inches, and then flipped over and I fell to the ground, which fucking hurt too.

I don't know if you have sustained an injury of this severity, but it goes almost completely numb, with just a dull throb moments after it happens. So I get up, hurting all over, and my friends first ask if I'm ok, and after I assure them that I'm fine, and "I only ripped my pants and hit the ground", they proceed to laugh at me nonstop until we reach the top of the tower. We sat on the tower, smoked numerous bowls, watched the people on the path below us, and had a generally good time.

After returning to the dorms, I decided to inspect my wound. The latch had ripped through my pants, through my boxers, and left a hole roughly four inches deep, two inches long and an inch wide in the side of my ass. My right leg was soaked with blood, and after seeing the damage, I promptly passed out and conked my head on the floor of the bathroom. I regained conciousness a few moments later, cleaned out my wound, which at that point really began to hurt, but was no longer bleeding. I got myself cleaned up, threw some gauze on it and taped that in place with some athletic tape and went to sleep. It took a full month before I could run again, and I have a scar that is about two inches long, an inch wide, and about 1/2 inch below the level of the rest of my ass cheek.

That's one of many strange stories I have accumulated over the last 4 1/2 years of school. I have more, but as SP said, it's finals time, and I'm a senior planning on graduating in two weeks. Back to the books....

One fine summer eve, aboot 10PM or so, my friend who lived nearby MSN'd me to inform me that he had gathered several people for a smoking session in the woods between our houses. I decided, hell yeah I'm gonna go! So I got ready. I dressed myself entirely in black, gloves and hat and everything...I used some halloween makeup for 'night-time camo' on my face. I also packed a large stick (also black and aboot 4 feet long, incase there were wolves or something) and my cell phone (on silent ring mode). Now fully equipped, I began the mission.

I snuck out of my room (on the second floor of my house, literally the FARTHEST room from the door outside in the entire house). I tiptoed past my sisters' room, down the creaky old stairs, past my other sister's room, past my parents room, past my brother's room, and to the liquor cabinet. I used a tiny can of WD-40 on the hinges, and opened the now silent cabinet doors; I reached inside in the utter blackness and came out with a 40 of fine Jamacain rum. Grinning quietly to myself, I closed the door gently and contined sneaking.

I made it outside without further incident, stepping over the sleeping 'guard dog' and avoiding getting licked in the face. I jogged my way across to the woods; these woods were alongside a road that bordered on the subdivision where my friend TrevortheVampire lived. It would have been infinitely easier and faster to simply walk on the road; it went the same place I was going, and it had lights on it too. But it wouldn't be very ninja-like, so I went crashing into the bushes.

I hiked in the dark for aboot twenty minutes, and realized that my bottle of rum was corked! I couldn't get into it! And it was aboot that time I realized that I had no idea where I was; the paths I knew in daytime were all hiding in the shadows. So I called up TrevortheVampire, and asked him to start a fire so I could find out where they were; he replied with 'we have no fucking lighter, dude, we can't spark the doobs! hurry up and get over here, man!' So I started running into the woods.

Still talking on the cell phone, I came to the top of a hill, where I immediately tripped on a large tree root. The phone went flying, the rum went also, and I beefed hardcore to the bottom of the hill, about 25 feet or so...I got to the bottom, and heard racous laughter from the bushes...apparently TrevortheVampire listened to my horrendous beefage and was laughing his ass off over the phone. I found my cell phone in the underbrush, and hung up on him. Then I used my ninja-hearing abilities and heard laughter coming from the woods to my right! I pulled out my stick, and started creeping in the general direction of the laughing, and I soon came up behind the group of 5 people who were sitting there not smoking weed yet. I managed to get directly between two people without them even knowing I was there, and started the conversation with 'I lost my rum in the woods.'

Everybody jumped a mile, then I laughed, then we smoke a couple doobs while looking for my lost rum...we found it aboot half an hour later, and somehow it had managed to hit a rock just perfectly so that the neck was cracked below the cork. I grabbed the bottle, looked it over in the lighter-light, and finished the job the rock had started. Then I proceeded to get really really drunk and woke up in the woods the next morning, still in perfect camoflage.

It was a hell of a night. I think we may have driven somewhere for some reason, but I can't be too sure.

One night, in a friend's room, we found a set of hockey gear. It escalated from pushing a girl down a few stairs to a drunk mother fucker jumping thirty feet, off the roof of our dorms. We were really surprised that he didn't, um, die, so now we just bolt off the roof if somebody notices us toking. It's a fuckin' amazing head rush, coupled with the realization half way down that you're about to hi the ground. Mwa ha ha ha.

PS-My only final is a six page paper. I fuckin' love hippie school.

My boyfriend and I were going to go to a concert with one of his friends. We wanted to get alittle fucked up before hand so we got together. Then when we drove to the concert there was a line a 1/2 mile long. We put the odometer to it exactally! SO us being the lazy stoners we just were like fuck it lets just go get more stoned. So we just chilled in the smoky apt. all night sitting around telling stories and laughing at each other.
I love those nights of just chilling!
I also have finals coming up ya'll and I have freaken 3 papers and two tests coming up. I am so going to busy. Have been busy. Will be busy. All week. LONG but then Christmas break will come and I will enjoy 3 1/2 weeks of pure freedom with no responsibilities!!!!!!! (well school anyway)

LONERSTONER OUCH I have a similar thing happen to me. We were all going to go mini golfing at night stoned out of our minds. So the little course is all lit up and it's really cool. I am wearing sandles and I trip out of one and my foot lands on the fake grassy green put put golf grass that they put in. It feels really good on my foot for some reason so I slide along the rest of the game barefoot. Then we get to this weird metel thing so I was walking on it and my foot slipped inside where you can get the bonus play on this course or something. My toe hit something sharp and it hurt really bad. I sat down on the grass and started laughing because OUCH dam it I hurt my foot. Everyone was like oh your okay your okay so then I put my sandles back on.
We were walking back to the car and I was like guys it feels like my toe is coming off. I must be really stoned. When we get to the car the light is shown on my foot and there is a puddle of blood where my foot is YIKES.
I look at it really close and someone said we should get her to the hospital... hahah for my toe I hurt my toe playing mini golf!!!
So we go to the emergency room everyone walks in and the nurse was like uh only one person in the back with her at a time. So I spent an hour waiting in this room and my friend and I watched ballet and laughed and the guys big humps (know what I'm talking about) and stupid shit on the little TV in there. Then the dude comes in to come fix me up and we talk to him ask him stuff like "you get weirdo's in here at these late hours all the time I bet. He asked us if we had been drinking. Umm Yes yes that is what we had done. Then he laughed his ass of when I told him I did this to my freaken toe on a mini golf course. Overall he was the coolest emergency nurse ever!! He showed us his tatoos and we had a jolly time!
I still can't believe that mini golf kicked my ass.........
