Non Rolling Papers for Rolling?

So my friend told me he rolled a few joints for the upcoming days....and I asked him where he got his rolling papers and he tells me he didn't actual roll em with rolling papers but with fucking lined paper...

I flipped the fuck out on him saying YO fucka...

That shit is BAD! for ya lungs! and probably you're brain too!
There is a reason rolling paper is rolling papers....BECAUSE IT'S SAFE!

So I came here to make sure that I'm right that it's horrible....is it safe or not?

(sorry if this is really retarded...i'm really high)

Lined paper is too thick...and it has ink in it.

I dont know, i would say that paper is paper, just some work better than others, and if it has a lot of ink and white out on it then thats not too good
