American Seed Dealers, Banks

First off let me say to my northern brothers I have no ill will towards you, and I am also grateful for those that help us Yanks find our seeds to grow our gardens in the good old USA.

But the truth of the matter is we the cannabis smokers of the USA need to band together, and spend our money right here to help fight the cause the way Mark Emery does in Canada.

Is there anyone in the USA, that is the like of Mark Emery that we can buy our seeds from that will help to support and fight the cause here for us.

No offense, but as a yank spending money for Emery Seeds so he can fight in Canada makes no sense on my America dollars, especially when so many of them bad mouth the yanks, and then want my money too, to help fight their Canadian cause, I don't think so thank you.

Correct me if Im wrong, but isn't seed selling legal in canada ((as long as they aren't planted)) ???? That would be the main reason why there aren't seed dealers in the US. Also, the punishments are severely harsher here then up north.

I know seeds for Canada isn't as big a deal as the USA, but seeds in America I remember before aren't that much of an issue, at least it wasn't before.

If we want to support the USA cause then we need people like Mark Emery in the USA, that we buy from, and this money helps to support this activist.

I'm interested in this too, but for different reasons. Mainly, it seems safer if items don't have to cross international borders.

I'm not saying that I disagree with anybody here, we just have different opinions. I'm OK with that. It seems to me that progress anywhere, Canada for example, would benefit us all. So I wouldn't have a problem supporting a Canadian movement; I feel that success there would have a positive effect here in the U.S.

You can thank your American laws on marijuana for the environment of fear that exists in the U.S. towards cannabis. Thank the fundamentalist Christians who still think the way to Hell is paved with marijuana. Thankfully Canada is not party to that environment.

There are no legit seedbanks in the US, period. How it will be untill the penalties change because there is just to much risk.

i know of a usa seed bank forming. funding and inventory is in the works, will be coming in early 2005. hopefully!!!!

I hope the U.S. based company makes it all-right. I would be very nervous doing so on American soil. We have some crazy laws, written by closeminded politicians.

This is a very patriotic thread, and I too have looked for any American based companys that I can support. Haven't found any seedbanks but did stumble across a site called herbal smoke shop that's based out of New Jersey, of all places. They sell all kinds of stuff from blunt wraps to pipes, to legal marijuana. And cheap too, I bought an ounce of "blueberry buds" for $44. I don't know how they can do it legally but somehow they can. More power to em.
