Cop

Today, a cop came to talk to us about....You guessed it: drugs. He kept calling cannabis the "demon weed". He talked about his drug busts, and refered to drug users as hooligans, and junkies. At the end when he asked if there were any questions, I asked him if he felt guilty for ruining innocent peoples lives, and throwing people in jail for using harmless substances on thier own body. He gave me this bullshit about how drugs cause all kinds of problems in society and in peoples lives. Then I told him that the only reason that drugs like cannabis cause problems, is because of the fact that they are illegal. He then asked me if I really believed that most drugs are harmless. I replied, "shouldnt you be asking yourself that question?" I told my teacher I would not be subjected to this government propaganda any longer and left. Damn, Im usually super chill, but when people try to feed me bullshit about drugs, I flip.

You should have conceeded that not all drugs are harmless, but even prescription meds can be deadly, but fight the good fight!

there are two sides to every story man.....all that cop sees is the bad that drugs cause.

Yeah, most drugs are harmful and do cause problems. Nice job though making a stand. Just be careful. No use fucking yourself over while you are still in school. Don't start begging for a drug test. ;)

Only to people who can't controll themselves. If you research your doses, and effects, then you will be fine. The only drug that is harmful no matter what, is inhalents. I have done many many different drugs. I am able to controll myself, and have found them not to effect my life adversley at all. If you do your research, you will find that the only problems that arise from most psychoactives, come from long term abuse. You can use a drug or you can abuse a drug. Moderation, and self controll are the key.

We may be breaking the rules here but just remember not to mention any other drug by name and we should be fine.

I agree moderation is key and their are many other drugs out their that can truely benifit a person in many ways. A lot of them however are highly addictive. I am referring to those, there is only so much will power and knowledge can help when it comes to the highly addictive drugs.

you've just been exposed to the same shit we all have. what interests me is where those fools found someone who could use the term "hooligan" with a straight face.
