What makes life important?

Life after death plays are big roll in most religions, right? My parents are both catholic and even though i dont share the same beliefs as them, i go anyways because i know it makes them happy. In many of the readings there is stuff about how glorious heaven is and how its so much better than life on earth etc...
Well one time while i was sitting in church i just thought to myself

"If heaven is so much better than this life we are living now, why dont we all just kill ourselves and go on up to heaven for a life we could have only hoped for on earth."

I myself believe that there is no god, no heaven, none of that. And there is no life after death.



To me, knowing that there is nothing after death makes life important.

Knowing that if you die doing nothing significant for this world you will be forgotten...forever, makes life important.


What makes life important for YOU?

What makes life impotartant to me man is my family but seriously havent u ever thought about like...wat the hell happens after i die..do i get reborn as a different person or do u actually go to heaven er some place...you have to think bout that..i know i do its a mystery man

nothing is any more or less important than anything, importance is a matter of opinion.


as for life after death, i do not believe in death, there is only life, and change.

we do not die, our bodies just go through enormous changes. the mind is the life of the world, and all that exists, has mind, is life.

Ok so does that meen u believe that after "death" you just keep living as another human being er sometin.This subject is like a wierd one to think about becuase im sure everyone thinks about what happens to them after they die...i know i do all the time just cuz im curious about it
