Alright, the story: A friend I work with claims he can get an ounce of White Rhino for $400. Now, he's getting it from a rural area near Cincinnati, known for how many potheads are out there, so I don't doubt there is some out there.
The question is, when I go to get some, how do I know it's actually White Rhino and not just some really good sinsemilla? What are the unique features to watch out for? Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer some advice.
400 dollers for an ounce. Dude for that much it better be exactly the buds you can find on the internet that make you go "God damn I didn't know buds like that existed". Any less than that I wouldn't pay over 200 300 tops.
400 a zip isnt too ridiculous. you could easily sell it off 20-25 a gram and make out good.
never seen white rhino though, just make sure its a lot better than what you usually buy.
You won't be able to tell. Unless it's just the principle of truth for you then it shouldn't matter if it's White Rhino or not. If it's really good high grade weed then does the strain really matter? I say as long as I get fuuucked up the bud is fine with me, hell make up your own name for it lol.
Ignore any name he tells you. If it looks like some awesome herb than buy it. If you think you could get the same quality elsewhere for cheaper, then don't buy it, but if YOU think it's good enough to buy, then buy it.
People will toss out any name they hear to make better sales, and keep in mind he says, "he can get it." That sounds like he is nothing more than a middleman and may be saying it's that much, to pocket some profit. Buy straight from a dealer, if you can for the best deals. Middle people like to take a bit of profit for their work, in either money form or pinching from your bag. I'm not all of them do this, but just be careful as a lot of them do. :)
Thanks everyone, good advice. For some extremely crystally stuff, I could care less what the brand is. I just want to know if I'm gettin White Rhino or not, but I won't worry about it. And around here, $100 for a quarter (Me and 3 others are buying an ounce) is normal prices for extremely crystally dank, KB/stuff between mids and true sinsemilla is like 70 a quarter, 35 for mids.
There really is no way to tell. I'm willing to bet that most strains don't really exist in the sense that all members of the "strain" are closely genetically related. For the most part, they're just names that people attach to their buds to make them sell better. Chances are there are lots of strains that people call White Rhino in grow rooms all around the globe that aren't particularly related to each other.
