Ebay

Well i just signed up an ebay account and paypal too, for anyone here who already uses both, because its really confusing me, say for example if you sell something on ebay and people pay you first through paypal can they take their money back from you once you have sent the item??? because it said something about a Seller Protection Policy whatever that means its all so confusing lol

Also how the hell do they pay you, like how to do they know which paypal account youre with or do you just talk to the winner of the bid through pms or what??

Another thing is i have fuck all feedback so do you think that would put people off??

i was going to get on ebay awhile back, so i could sell a catalytic converter (car part) and after some useless time trying to figure it out on my own i talked to the people.... there's certain thigns you have to have before you can even sell shit (one of which is a checking account...)

before you get your hopes up of selling shit, make sure you can even get joined up so you can sell shit...

otherwise... i'm not sure how it works, but no they can't take their money back... however, if someone tries to buy something, and you don't have proof you sent the item or you never do, paypal will take the money back or w/e...

they do their best to protect buyer AND seller from being screwed over... but the seller is the first one to get the short end of the stick.. so make sure you always have proof of everything if a problem should arise.. also if you get into buying things from there... ALWAYS PRINT OUT AN EXACT COPY OF THEIR ADD... people are always going to and making false claims and shit... and if it comes to a legal standpoint, you need proof of what they offered..


just the other day, i saw something on judge judy, this bitch was trying to sell 2 cell phones on ebay, and after the buyer sent their 200-something dollars in, the seller sent two PICTURES of cell phones... eventually, judge judy went off on the seller and granted the settlement.... but it just goes to show you the lengths some people will go to rip you off..

When they make the purchase they pay through paypal and then you are informed that payment was made. From there, you access your paypal and transfer the funds over to the bank account you have listed.

Feedback counts for some folk and not much for others. If your a good seller/buyer.....it's for the best to have it listed.

Another thing.....BEWARE of e-mails asking to have your account confirmed.....log into the actual site from the net.....NOT the link!! There are groups overseas that send out these requests then when they got your numbers they'll drain your bank account REAL quick. Luckily, my bank noticed my transactions in Romania and gave me a call before they paid it out. I had to get a new bank card, change all my access numbers through the bank, paypal and e-bay.

good advice P4b... the protection is for the buyer if you don't send the product he is insured to a certain extent through Paypal... do everything by the book and don't even as much as get a letter wrong on the description,,,people are anal and would start yelling you lied... people hold feedback as insurance too... Say you have to send a product and it gets bashed in shipping the buyer is going to hold the feedback over your head till you make it right...

I got 77 F/B's 100% positive and if your gonna sell it does help for buyers to see it...
