I've been sick for a week boohoo!

And I am feeling really tired of the whole wretched mess- splitting sinus headache, coughing fits, stuffy nose agrravation! I've taken Dayquil,Ibuprofin, Benadryl...nothing is working.
I will never get all my papers read for next week, so the poor dears will have to wait another week. I normally have a strict 1 -week turnaround but I FEEL LIKE CRAP!:( I've slogged through 12 but there's no way I can read the other 10 and still do all the other work I have left
I still have to put together lectures for four class, create a test and a midterm, it goes on an don....boohoo poor pitiful me :sadcrying

Maybe the fact that I up and quit taking my Prozac and Welbutrin very recently is making the cold feel worse. I was sick of the side effects those drugs have, and after more than a decade on them, I wanted a break. Hopefully I will shake all this misery soon. Anyway, I just needed to vent - sigh, cough, sniff

Awwww that's wretched. I swear by echinacea. I take the capsules, and drink echinacea tea with zinc and vitamin c in it. The old man and I were both spitting nasty green goo last week, but since doing our nightly tea and a smoke ritual, we're breathing easy.

So sorry you're under the weather, Demeter. Practically everyone I know right now is sick, either with the flu, which is at epidemic levels here in the Dallas area right now, a cold/sore throat, or a stomach bug. One of my oldest friends was supposed to meet me for lunch today but had to cancel because she has the same thing you do.
