Would say 5 of these work for the CFL grower to get more of the red spectrom?

what wattage man? that's the most important thing.
Not what wattage....what temp are they? Do not get the colored lights go by the temperature...5500-6500k for veg....2500K-3500k for flower, Also known as the color, cool or warm respectively.
Also go by the actual wattage when figuring how many, not the incandescent equivalent
There is a lot of info in the FAQ's
13 watt for a 60 watt equivilant.
those are alright but you really need the 27-30 watts or higher. if you have a Lowes around you, they sell them there.
