Is my ph a little too high?

Hey guys, just bought a ph testing kit (the ones where you put a sachet of stuff into a chamber, put a tiny sample of soil in it, and then put some water.. shake thoroughly and watch for the color..) mine turned out green which is ph 7.0 (not very precise but hey) i was just wondering.. im growing soil not hydro so.. is this an ok ph level or is is a lil too high.. if so what should i do to bring it down to the norm, if its ok then just let me know.. just wanted to check thats all. yeh ph 7 is neutral so its not acidic totaly fine!
