Ok i had a semi prematrue harvest last year and ended up with a lot of leafy's with lil buds on them. about a pound. so to store it i threw it all in a bag and froze it. i got all what i could for hash extratction and am left with about a pound of leafs and shit. i wanted to make tea buti had a few questions.
Do the leaves and sticks HAVE to be dry before puting in boil water?
If you already extracted all the hash you could from it... it means there is nothing left there that will get you high... but if you still want to make a tea out of it, then try and dry the stuff first... all teas are made from dry leaves anyways and if there is any THC left there it will work better if it is dry

no i had like 5 pounds of the leafs/buds type. i extracted all but a few pounds. and now im left with a few pounds of untouched buds. so i do have to dry it :(

im just gonna tell you that making tea doesnt work because thc isnt water soluable (sp?)...
actually it does work you use organic soy milk and water boil mixture theres a thread in here on it.
also read. that some ppl add a lil veg oil, butter, or reg milk to break the thc down into tea.
OR half and Half of water and 100proof liqure like ever clear.
but what i don't read anywhere. is if you can use wet leafs/buds to boil down into your tea. also does some of the water have to evaperate to become more dense?
I think it would work fine without drying it out just don't add extra water. If you use a nice fatty cream/milk and follow instructions you should be fine. Just don't put all your eggs in one basket before you know it works.
Additionally, you can grind it up and stick it in the oven on a cookie sheet, keeping the temp between 300-325 F for quick drying and extra potency.
well i would think just using a fatty milk would defeat the meaning of a tea. and make it more of a green milk. i was thinking a half and half. a creamy tea :p
also. do i have to let the mixture boil down? meaning like hash but not as much so its more consintrated?
