How do [U]you[/U] test the quality of your bud?

Forget about the name for a second. . .

tell us how you personally check the quality of your greens. Obviously you smoke it, but how much? Do you check how sticky it is? Do you go by smell? How about the stem? What little tricks have you picked up that helped you to find what you enjoy.

I perosonally like Satavia so I try to look at the leavesfor any hints first. Second, I go to how easy it is to crumble. I look for a some what sour scent. I get the stem and check how dry/easy to break it is. Finally, I smoke it, I pack a bowl in my favorite bong, take a super milky hit, I hold it for as long as I can, and then chill. Sit around for about an hour to get a full scence of the high. This usually can help me to ration it through out the week. I get a good high with an even flow, or when I want to splurge, it helps to know when to stop. . .

I smoke it. That is the only way to really tell how good it is. I barely even look at it anymore. Looks and smell tend to be misleading. If it is a good high and doesn't burn the shit out of my throat, I'm happy. Plus duration. I had KB one time that only got me high for 30mins. It looked great but wasn't worth shit.

Bammer weed. Looks decent, sometimes even dank. Tastes like shit and only a slight stoned feeling for 20 minutes...

i smoke it to find out the quality, DUH! my dealers always let me sample the herb.

We don't really sample to often around here. Dealers are cheap bastards.

Everything I get is dank and I always end up getting a nice high.

The only visual thing I will use to tell is how many crystals are visible on the buds... everything else is misleading.

Normally I just smoke it and learn that way however. Normally a blunt with 2 friends.
