My school has gone overboard.
Yesterday there was a fight, and some kid tried to steal the cops gun to shoot either him or the kid he was fighting. He failed, blah blah, arrested, lots of cops at the school, I thought it would be over the next day. Well apparently not.
Today there were 14 cop cars, probably more than 14 cops, drug dogs, the super intendant, metal detectors in the cafe doors, drug dogs, and the hallways were closed down for the day except for passing to class. This is going to be going on for atleast another month, and I'm guessing for the rest of the year.
Even though it was a serious matter on that day, the police have gone overboard. Anyone else agree?

you can never be too careful these days....no i don't think they've gone overboard...well except maybe closing down the halls, can't you even go take a shit during class anymore?

Schools don't mess around too much anymore. Just too much stuff has happened over the years and the schools basically have to put a no tolerence policy for any kind of matter regarding violence.

i hated taking a shit in school, but i remember one morning sitting in math class...it was an all of the sudden 'oh fuck i gotta shit right NOW' type of shit. i pretty much had to run to the pisser. ...for some reason thats the only time i ever remember shitting in high school.

damn our school closes the hall ways during lunch... and thats just because of the freashmen and sophmores, having no respect and tossing garbage all up and down the halls(more like seniors and juniors,such as me and my friends) ahh... its a bit over board, because the kid tried to steal the COPS gun, he didnt pull one out of his pockets... and i would be kicked out of any school with metal detectors, or schools that close the hallways, during class... because i dont give a shit... im always polite, and ask if i can go to the bathroom, and wait until they say no,,, and then i get up and piss in the either the corner, or i walk out of class, take a piss, and then come back and sit down in my seat...

Actually, I wasn't there for the fight, but these are the rumors. The first ones are the truthiest, the last ones are more false.
1. Kid tried to steal gun
2. There was going to "supposably" be a huge gang fight
3. The fight was over crack.
4. There is going to be a shootout on Friday.
There was a whole article on it in the local paper, I'm going to read it later and post what actually happened.

I wouldn't expect it to stay like that for long. You may have a couple cops on campus for a little while, or permanant security guards, but I doubt they will spend that much money for a long time. They will sweep the school, raid lockers and make a few more arrests probably and than leave in a week.
