Help a new grower

Hi to all you happy people.I hope i have put this in the right section.I am on the verge of growing my own in soil.This will be my first ever attempt at growing and am a bit concerned as how to start as i have seen many videos and read a lot of tips etc but everyone seems to be different.Can anyone tell me to germinate the seeds should i use str8 water without adding anything or should i add all the nutrients that others say also i bought the soil from a head shop and they say not to add any nutrients for a couple of weeks can anyone tell me does this sound right and if so when i put them under the lights when it comes to adding nutrients etc do i make the mixture up to the recommended amount for there 3d week.:rasta:

There's a few good books that include indoor and outdoor growing alike. If you go buy one of those you'll have all the info you need including all the scientific knowledge about Cannabis. I believe there's a section here for growers. You might wanna go there.
