Me and my mate went to pick up an 8th each of one of our dealers, got home and weighed the shit and both eighths weighed at 5.3 grams, thats an extra 10s for free. Our scales arent faulty either (penny weighed 3.5). The bud is really nice too, really crystally dense buds which grind out really well.
I rekon either his scales are faulty or he was fucking high when he was weighing it but what do we care? We got a free eithth between us. Im going to go back to him soon and see if it happens again.
umm...i mite have misunderstood what u were trying to say, but 8th is 3.5, so 2 8th's would b 7 grams...and u got 2 8ths, so that would mean u actually got ripped off
Oh sorry, i meant that both eighths weighed 5.3 respectivly, so it was altogether 10.6 grams.
Squeeze the buds then rub your teeth.
If when you bite its all gritty like sand then that would explain your extra weight.
Otherwise smoke on! Nice dealer to get 3.5g and 5.3g mixed up :)
I'm curious, did you weigh the buds with the bags on the scale, and not calibrate the weight of the bag? Because it would sound about right that a small ziplock with the seal would weigh about 1.8 grams. A sandwich baggie tends to be .9 or a gram. I know because I've weighed all kinds of bags. :)
If you;re in the Uk, be aware of the sand and glass crisis you are facing right now. :)
Not trying to be a dink, but that would be pretty careless on the dealers part.

Maybe his scale was upside down, cuz that would show 5.3 grams as 3.5...
