Temperature at plant top
I have read loads of temperature posts that for the most part address ambient air temperature in the grow room. I believe the temperature at the plant-top level would be somewhat higher than the "room" temp. Has anyone any information on the temperature is as the level of the leaf?
Thanks, great forum.

Temperature at plant top
I keep my sensor probe about 1" from the grow area top, and try to keep tips in upper 80's, low 90's/high 20's, low 30's. (I"m in a closet with CFL & limited ventilation)
In a grow room, with an oscillating fan, temperature should be pretty much evenly distributed. If there's no fan, why not?

Temperature at plant top
Hey Crusin.. It can often be hotter at the TOP of the canopy because that is the closet point to your lights...
It is GREAT to have a fan blowing directly between your lights and the foliage(canopy)... at a slight angle upward.. This will help keep the canopy temeratures and room temperatures the same... 75-82 degres is GREAT!
and NOW you KNOWM

There is an FAQ with pictures on how to properly monitor the temperature at the plants canopy. Try not to go above 85f at the most, 78f is better.
