I'm hoping to use it to make a cooltube for a 400w HPS, alternatively a 250HPS.
Will this do?
These are the specs:
TD 160/100.
2 speed: 2500/2100 v/min.
Effect 35/23 W.
Decibel 39/35 dB(A).
Max. air: 160 m³/tim.

The opening on either end of the cool tube is 6 or 8 inch.If your asking what type of flex to use you can just use the 6 or 8 inch flex.I would put a 6x4 reducer on the ends and use the smaller fan.I hope I understood you correctly.

No, I mean if the fan is powerful enough. The cool tubes are around 9cm, but they're not a standard size since thwey come from second hand hurricane lamps, so will have to insulate a bit where they join the flex and fan.
Max. air: 160 m³/h.
There are 2 FAQ's on making a cool tube have you checked it out yet?

Oh yeah, Ive checked them. technical specs make my head dizzy though...
Btw, I just finished banging an exhaust hole in my wall. Quick spliff break and then its back to banging up an intake hole...my landlord is gonna love me.
160 cfm,your room is 3mx3mx3m? You should use a 265 cfm fan!

No, my room is about 1.3m * 1.8M, though about 4m high. But this fan is going straight into a tube though...Unles I don't need to, of course.
yes! It needs to be hooked straight to the fan.Get a seperate fan to vent the room and bring in fresh air.The fan hooked to the cooltube will draw the heat out.Are you gonna use a timer or a thermostat for the fan on the cooltube?

.
Lol, yes but will my fan Max. air: 160 m³/h be powerful enough for a 400w HPS? Do I need it on a timer? I guess time will show, I thought it would run as long as the bulb does...?
for a 400 watt cooltube you want a minimum of about 465cfm to properly cool the bulb. i'm not sure watt 465cfm converts to in metric, sorry. i had a 400hps cooltube with only 4inch duct booster and it wasn't so good but i upgraded to a 465 squirrellcage fan going by specs on the cooltube package and it was 100x better. with the 465cfm 400hps cooltube i could keep the temps in the closet the same as the ambient temp in my house at all times!
