is it possible to keep a pollenated female lowryder#2 in the veg section of our grow room with female clones that we dont want to pollenate? if it would put the clones at risk where would u suggest she lives? does she need to be under light to seed? all repies gatefully received. thx
Well the fan can still blow around pollen from the mother so keep that in mind. You may end up with more seeds then you wanted in the first place if you are not careful.
Sorry I can't give you any definitive answer because I lack experience, but it seems that the plant would be confused if you threw it back into 18/6 or 24/0 while it was flowering. Even if you want the seeds and not the buds.
I'm sure someone will confirm or refute this.
so do u think it would be best to keep her completely seperated from ALL other plants ? If we put her under a CFL do you think that would be enough to help her gro/seed whatever you call it ! Soory if i sound vague, its just our first attempt at pollenating a plant to get seeds, and can't really seem to find much info

no u cant clone lowryders, but getting a fem lowryder polinnated from a male to get seeds
Give the pollenated plant a quick shower and then you can put her back with her sistahs. Get under the leaves too.
oh right so that will get rid of the leftover 'spunk' for want of a better word !!

naw no worries, totally safe... think of outdoor plants getting rained on... the water makes the pollen not viable any more... no offense taken, lots of people think that you can 'wash off' resin. You could always just give a gentle but thorough misting with a spray bottle instead if you are worried about big droplets hurting the buds.Quote:
