ok, my grandma is considering letting me grow (again) this time i stand half a chance... i need a quick run down of the pros and cons of weed smoking... nothing like a novel... i know there's a flyer bobbong posted that would be a good portion of it, but i can't find it... so help me please.. like i said, no novels or anything.... just a quick run down of the points..

pro: growing = money - if your smart
con: if you grow, can lead to violence with others who smoke (like people breaking into your house)
con: if you get arrested....... we all know what happens
really the only con is that it is illegal.
pro : self medication (relaxation, pain relief, increased appetite, enjoyment, to name a few), if you grow you don't have to deal with unsavory people, if you grow you can monitor things about it (like how strong it is, etc.)
con : it's illegal, inhaling burning plant material is bad for your lungs, etc.

But, if you do not tell anyone, then I think there is a lesser chance of getting caught. When you go out to buy it, you have to transport it. At your house, as long as no cops get tips (which is why you don't tell a soul, and hide it well) then you're less likely to get caught.
Definitely make sure you read up on laws, and make it so if you do get busted, you can get it to personal use, instead of intent to distribute, or anything to minimize the trouble you get in. Like, if you have lots of bags around and a scale...they might think your definitely selling.
