new and would like some ideas

Ok iam new so plz don't lol at me. i want to try growing indoors. Now i only want to grow one plant at a time. iam a smoker don't care to make $$ just a little free some. I went out and got me a 5gal pale one plant set up and i have a sun stream 250watt grow light and i have 3 100watt there like the T5's. Now why only one you may ask well it is cus my wife don't mined me doing 1 or 2 so i am starting with one for now and then latter maybe more. so i just ned an idea on how big my room should be, how much light will be needed for one plant. any ideas would be sweet

Just kidding, welcome.

I'm not sure what a sunstream is?? You'll need the basic lights, cool white flouros for veg (blue spec) and HPS for flower (red spec).

For space.... a 3x3 space at least 5 feet high is adequate for up to 4 decent sized plants. And 4 plants in flower will give you a harvest of one plant every 2 weeks, and if you time it right, you will have just the right amount of smoke to keep ya happy! :D

Then you have a little vegging area where you can keep your young plants if you want to do the perpetual crop thing...

Or if you only have 1 area, just do it all in there!

REad a lot and see what you like for closet grows etc. and I'm sure you will have more Qs later!

thanks for the repley i was thinking of a 3x3 but wasn't sure on how tall but you say 5 feet should be good cool i will build that tonight. And yes i will have many more ?? abit latter.
