Are these Preflowers during veg ????

Hey gang,

Just noticed these white hairs at branch intersections on a couple of plants. ( see pics ) Could these be the start of preflowers or am I just wishful seeing?

My sight is pretty bad and not getting better as I stare into the 800w of mh like a deer in headlights in facination with my first grow.
