well i cant get a good pic of it, but its a rusty color spotted on the soil
Under the pot? Probably mildew.
I would say you do not have proper drainage. There are not enough drain holes and probley not enough perlite.
If you have poor drainage, you may have root rot. If you do, the roots will look rusty instead of white.
transplanted today, roots are all white! which i belive is ideal! thanks anyways wonder what the rusty dirt was
im also using pro mix
You get rusty dirt from where the water sits and pools up instead of draining out the bottom. You can stop it completely by adding about an inch or two of gravel to the bottom of your pot before adding dirt. The gravel makes sure there is never any water trapped at the bottom.
thanks dude i am thinking thats why to, excess water lingering around. once i transplant the other 2, there will be no more excess water jus chillin
