I shop around at a few different places. For most stuff, I head to Publix or Winn-Dixie. They're both close to each other and each has thier own appeal. Publix ususally has a better selection of produce and other items, while Winn-Dixie's has the best cuts of meat between the two and the prices of general goods is a little cheaper. I also like to check out local specialty markets like the fruit stand guy and some delis when I can and have time though.
On a side note, back home, I did all my food shopping at Bi-Lo. That place was right up with publix on the ammount of shit they had and the meat market there would be any butcher here hands down.
You forgot to put FOOD COOPERATIVES as an option. Which is where I shop for my groceries.
a place called bloom, used to be food lion
http://www.ashlandfood.coop/retailer...5PBQVVBD4T73P3 That is where I shop.
i didn't know kmart and target sold groceries.
I do my shopping at Safeway.
That's a tough poll for people who live in areas that don't have all those chains.
Around here, we have Stop and Shop, Trader Joe's, Big Y, Hannaford's, and Whole Foods.
I shop for staples at BJ's wholesale club where you have to buy in bulk, but I have a deep freezer so it's ok.
Then I get as many veggies as possible from local farmers markets and freeze those too for out of season
All my odd little yummy treats come from places like Trader Joe's, Asian markets, and this weird discount place in town that I call the 'used food' store because everything expires like THAT DAY, lol.
I absolutely REFUSE to buy food at WalMart.
our kmart is gone, but it used to... target sells some... just the basics, not like meats or anything liek that
But what are you gonna do when you need to pickup a DVD player, dogfood, a shotgun, lawn rake and some eggs? LMAOQuote:

I do my shopping at Walmart and Aldi. I somtimes go to Ingles or Food Lion buts that just when I need something small and not a whole list of food for the week. Walmart is just where its at anymore if you want to save money and since I didnt win the lottery last night Im going to be going there today.
