Moms Going Crazy

so basically, im late to school every day and the school gets me in trouble for that wich pisses my mom off...then today i decided to tell my mom that im sick wich usually works very easily bc my mom is at work and cant prove me wrong...the problem is this time my mom snapped, she started going crazy bc my grades suck and im almost failing a lot of classes and refused to call school, i finally convinced her to call school, but now shes saying she wants me 2 see the school psychologist and set up a meeting with the principle...and she said when she gets home were gunna have a long talk, she thinks im depressed and stuff even though im the happiest guy i know...so basically my moms flipping out n wants to kill me when i get home, what do u guys think i should do to make things better?

Ever heard of the boy who cries wolf? Let her into your life more and stop lying to her. I think that should work, honesty always does.

Put yourself in your mom's position... can you imagine how hard it is to deal with a teenager who can't be bothered getting to school on time everyday, while she's at work and can't be holding your hand and making sure you're being a responsible young adult? Is she a single parent? If so, that's even worse... that means she's working to support you guys, and all she asks of you in return is to man up a little bit and fulfill what few obligations you have as a teenager. When you grow up, have a real job, a real family, a real mortgage to take care of, going to school won't seem so bad. So you asked what you can do to make it better... how about making sure you get to school on time every day for the rest of the school year so your mom doesn't have to worry about it all the time? I'm sure she's at her wit's end, hence the suggestion to see the school psychologist. She thinks you're depressed because you seem incapable of completing everyday activities and you're failing classes! Get with the program, dude.

ya, stop being lazy about school. Finish that first then be a lazy stoner if you want, BUT you wont amount to crap if you don't finish school.

I was in your situation once, except my mother never intervened, and my school didn't bother to call her, they called me when i was in trouble? my year level co-ordinators would call my mobile when i wasn't at school to talk about my behaviour. go figure.

lol trust im a little fucker when to getting up for school in the morning lol, i woke up at 9:20 this morning and my mock GCSE's started at 9 lo, but im doing alright with my grades a-c's

she sounds come on the fone now...but now she just sounds so dissapointed and it gives me that guilty feeling, now i feel like shit

Late for school every day, cutting out faking sick, grades suck, failing classes. Your mother isn't the one with problems here. How's she doing at HER job? School is your job.

i hate to jump on the bandwagon, any bandwagon, but the whole school thing ain't that bad. it's not your mom that's going crazy, but you who are already there if you think that school is as bad as it gets.
