myth busters confirmed so I tried
I have friends in the outside less exciting gardening world that play music for thier gardens all day long. I have always thaught they were a little strange, but Myth Busters set out to Bust the myth that music makes plants grow faster, and they confirmed that it did infact work. They did 4 settings
classical music
rock
silence
talking
The Plants that listened to Rock grew faster!! They were soy bean plants and the plants were healthier and the beans were bigger. So a couple of weeks ago I put a radio playing classic rock in my growroom and WOW. I can't wait to see the end results, but I am noticing a big difference allready.
Just wanted to share. ****people might wander why there is music coming from my attic. heehee

Are you playing the radio very low or just a modest volume? Just curious!

modest volume, my room is insulated really well and you can barely hear it downstairs in my house. But, I don't stress over anyone hearing it because I live out in the woods. I am so convinced that it is making a difference, I am going to install outdoor speakers in my vegetable garden this spring
